Evening cocktails and canapés (5:30 pm - 7:30 pm) Excellent food buffet. I like the lechon quesadillas, jalapeño cheese poppers, and siomai. I appreciate the bartender crafting cocktails from a menu of drinks. I understand the hotel is still brand new, but they need to do multiple inspections before releasing the room to guest. Vanity mirror was dusty from construction. The Butler service was very attentive, many thanks to Ice (Butler) for making my stay pleasant, he would escort me to the pool, and even breakfast buffet at Fili Hotel bypassing the crowd at the entrance. Breakfast Buffet is at Fili Hotel which is extensive and one of the best in Cebu. The problem is the crowd, while Nustar Butlers will escort Nustar guests to a table, there’s no dedicated tables for Nustar guests, which confuses the restaurant staff with seating assignments. Alternatively, the breakfast buffet at the executive club lounge is quiet but with limited options, they should have an a la carte menu to expand options like other international luxury hotels. The security at the lobby entrance is wildly inconvenient and inconsistent, every time you enter you need to prove you’re a guest of Nustar and not a guest of Fili or a casino player. It’s weird that they are sometimes overly strict and many times just ignore people passing by. Guests have a keycard to use elevators what’s the point of the guards that have a list of people’s names and room numbers, if anything that’s a security risk. The pool service is lacking. Shared between 2 hotels and the upcoming grand summit. The pool area lacks service of a 5-star hotel, towels need to be claimed at a towel hut. My expectation is that there are staff that will setup loungers with towels for guests. And since the pool facility is shared with the muncher large Fili Hotel it can get crowded. Fortunately, Nustar has a private infinity pool which was closed my stay. Nustar Resort has potential to be Cebu’s most luxurious hotel, they have the hard product with their spacious luxurious rooms, but they need to improve their soft product - the service from the butlers are outstanding and personal, but everyone else seems to be lost. For the asking price of 250-300 usd per night there’s a lot to expect. Nustar is primed for excellence but falls just short of achieving refined luxury. I’m hoping Nustar partners with Marriott and rebrand under Luxury Collection. Or even Hyatt with Unbound Collection.

I enjoyed my stay in Crimson Resort, the room is big and spacious for families, the staff are friendly and well trained, the four pools are huge and fun and the daily breakfast is delicious. We especially enjoyed the foam party at adult pool and Crimzone pool, the playground in Crimsone, the seaweed collection activity, snorkeling and the complete amenities of the room. Cebu beach is so pretty. Big shout-out to Clint in breakfast for his very warm service to me and my daughter. Cons: - There was no housekeeping done on 2nd day of my stay which was not informed to me in advance, I think that was not professional. - They don’t allow food delivery in but the food in the resort is not that delicious to be had everyday (I tried sisig, inasal and pizza). - You need grab or taxi to go out to Cebu city (and face the jam) as the shuttle only runs 3x a day, so it’s not convenient if you want to explore Cebu.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort, and overall, it was a beautiful experience. The resort is nestled in a stunning location, surrounded by clear blue waters that create a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The tranquil environment made it an ideal choice for a quick getaway. The resort itself is well-maintained, with lovely landscaping and comfortable amenities. The serene setting really enhances the overall experience, making it a great place to unwind for a two-night stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the friendly staff. From the reception to the poolside attendants, everyone was warm and welcoming. The pool guys were particularly nice, adding to the relaxed vibe of the resort. However, I did find that the food needs significant improvement. While the dining options were ample, the quality and variety fell short of expectations. To truly enhance the guest experience, I believe that more attention to the menu and food preparation is necessary. This aspect would play a crucial role in my decision to return. Another area that requires attention is the communication regarding trips and activities. Unfortunately, we often found ourselves headed to the wrong locations, only to be redirected to another part of the island. Clearer information about where to go for excursions would be greatly beneficial for guests. In summary, Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort is a beautiful destination with a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. However, improvements in food quality and clearer communication regarding activities are essential for a more satisfying experience. With these adjustments, I could see myself returning, as the stunning views and peaceful environment are truly commendable.

Nằm n*** cạnh Trung tâm thương mại SM City, có cầu thang phụ đóng cửa lúc 12 giờ đêm. Ở đó cũng có Starbucks nữa! Nước tắm có vị khá ổn, không giống như những khu nghỉ dưỡng khác tôi từng ở, thường mặn. Khách sạn nằm giữa trung tâm thương mại/câu lạc bộ/nhà hàng. Rất đáng để thử. Nhược điểm: phải gọi phục vụ phòng lúc 10 giờ tối nhưng mất rất nhiều thời gian để lấy đồ. Cũng mất khá nhiều thời gian để mang đồ chúng tôi yêu cầu lên. Nước xả bồn cầu cũng rất yếu nên tôi không khuyên bạn nên vứt khăn giấy vào đó. À vâng, gần đó có một cửa hàng 7-11, khoảng 5-6 phút đi bộ, nhưng tôi nghĩ hơi bị lừa đảo. Chỉ có thể thanh toán bằng tiền mặt và cũng có một đêm tôi chỉ có ít tiền mặt trong khi nhân viên quét mã vạch. Anh ta nói với tôi rằng tôi không được lấy đồ ra, nếu không anh ta phải trả bằng tiền tiêu vặt của mình ??? Và bảo chúng tôi rút tiền. Stayed with my toddler for one night. Hotel room was great and clean but their service sucks. I requested to borrow utensils but they never came. Aqua play was closed due to maintenance. Playroom was not free for the type of booking that I availed which sucks cos it says on the fine print that it’s free. It made my toddler so disappointed cos of wrong info. Beach was dirty and low tide when we came. Swimming pool was dirty. The only highlight i guess was the breakfast buffet, lots to choose from and delicious.. but overall it’s kid friendly, although we just came in at the wrong time. Some facilities needs some maintenance and some Korean guests needs to know where the trash bin is located. Ts
