I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort, and overall, it was a beautiful experience. The resort is nestled in a stunning location, surrounded by clear blue waters that create a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The tranquil environment made it an ideal choice for a quick getaway. The resort itself is well-maintained, with lovely landscaping and comfortable amenities. The serene setting really enhances the overall experience, making it a great place to unwind for a two-night stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the friendly staff. From the reception to the poolside attendants, everyone was warm and welcoming. The pool guys were particularly nice, adding to the relaxed vibe of the resort. However, I did find that the food needs significant improvement. While the dining options were ample, the quality and variety fell short of expectations. To truly enhance the guest experience, I believe that more attention to the menu and food preparation is necessary. This aspect would play a crucial role in my decision to return. Another area that requires attention is the communication regarding trips and activities. Unfortunately, we often found ourselves headed to the wrong locations, only to be redirected to another part of the island. Clearer information about where to go for excursions would be greatly beneficial for guests. In summary, Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort is a beautiful destination with a relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. However, improvements in food quality and clearer communication regarding activities are essential for a more satisfying experience. With these adjustments, I could see myself returning, as the stunning views and peaceful environment are truly commendable.

Mình vẫn hay sử dụng tòa nhà 'Palm Resort' nhưng hôm cuối phải đặt trước thêm 1 ngày ở resort nên dùng Sea View Resort để trải nghiệm. Nhìn chung, nó cũ hơn một tòa nhà mới xây một chút nhưng vẫn gọn gàng và được bảo trì tốt. Và vì không có hạn chế nào trong việc sử dụng cơ sở vật chất của khu nghỉ dưỡng trong tất cả các tòa nhà, tôi nghĩ rằng những người dành ít thời gian hơn trong phòng nghỉ dưỡng có thể sẽ tốt hơn ở Sea View Resort, nơi rẻ hơn một chút và có khả năng tiếp cận khu vực ngoài trời nhanh nhất . Không biết số coupon được tặng khi nhận phòng được tính như thế nào nhưng tôi nhận được nhiều coupon nhất khi nhận phòng tại Sea View Resort. Vì đây là tòa nhà cổ nhất nên tôi nghĩ sẽ được bồi thường nhiều hơn một chút. Đặc biệt, tôi còn nhận được phiếu giảm giá 2 đồ uống miễn phí tại quầy bar, thật tuyệt vời. Nếu sử dụng trên sân thượng thì giá khoảng 400 đến 500 peso. Gần đây, Solea đã mở rộng hoạt động kinh doanh của mình. Nếu bạn nói ”nanda cafe” với người lái xe ba bánh ở lối vào, anh ta sẽ đưa bạn đến một quán cà phê cách đó khoảng 3 đến 4 phút đi xe ba bánh. I enjoy my stay with Maayo Hotel. The amenities is great, thr location is good too. I can see the Mactan Bridge as well as the sea. They have a pool and I enjoyed my time swimming in there. 10/10 for Maayo!

Stayed with my toddler for one night. Hotel room was great and clean but their service sucks. I requested to borrow utensils but they never came. Aqua play was closed due to maintenance. Playroom was not free for the type of booking that I availed which sucks cos it says on the fine print that it’s free. It made my toddler so disappointed cos of wrong info. Beach was dirty and low tide when we came. Swimming pool was dirty. The only highlight i guess was the breakfast buffet, lots to choose from and delicious.. but overall it’s kid friendly, although we just came in at the wrong time. Some facilities needs some maintenance and some Korean guests needs to know where the trash bin is located. Ts

The hotel is nice for an overnight stay after or before your flight. Its old but clean, only the bathtub was dirty and needs to be cleaned. Breakfast was great. Theres a big variety and food is delicious.

I have been using Costabella for nearly 20 years and have always considered it a pleasant, well maintained hotel. In fact I even got married here! However, during my most recent stay, the experience fell noticeably short of expectations. We booked a poolside room and, after check in, I was genuinely surprised to find that the room was on the third floor. Based on my many previous stays, I had always understood poolside rooms to be those adjacent to the pool at ground level. If you are booking a poolside room, be aware that this may not be the case and expectations should be managed accordingly. The room itself was a little dated in style, but it was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Housekeeping was consistent throughout the stay, which helped offset the older décor. The pool area is relatively small but generally well maintained. Unfortunately, it was extremely crowded throughout the day due to the large number of day pass visitors. As a result, there were no chairs or loungers available for hotel guests for most of the day, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the beach area was clean and pleasant. The food was the main let down. The buffet breakfast would rate no more than 4 out of 10. Much of the food had not been replenished, including empty juice and coffee stations, and what remained was cold and unappetising. However, it was better on the second day. Dinner was equally disappointing. Several main courses were served cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen twice. In the end, we cancelled two seafood dishes altogether, as reheating raised concerns about food quality and safety. The steak, which was once a highlight of Costabella for me, was extremely tough and far below the standard I have previously enjoyed. Overall, Costabella still has many positive qualities, but this stay did not reflect the standards I have previously associated with the resort and this will be my last visit. Unless the quality of the food and the management of guest capacity improve, I would find it difficult to recommend Costabella based on this recent experience.
