A cosy hotel with attentive and friendly staff. I chose a room without the smell of tobacco, and it truly was odour-free. The location is quiet, and breakfast is served at the table in the dining area. The only downside to my stay was the behaviour of some inconsiderate guests who arrived around midnight, shouting at each other and watching television for about 2-3 hours. I reported this to reception, but it seems the staff were already asleep and unable to address the issue promptly.

My family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise. The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site. One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days. At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us. Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

Phòng ốc và khách sạn kết hợp những tinh hoa của Trung Quốc, truyền thống và hiện đại. Giường ngủ thoải mái với gối truyền thống và mềm mại. Bộ chăn ga gối đệm chất lượng cao tuyệt đẹp. Giấc ngủ ngon và thoải mái! Công nghệ hiện đại ở khắp mọi nơi. Khách sạn tọa lạc tại vị trí đẹp nhất ở Hồng Thôn. Gần mọi thứ nhưng vẫn yên tĩnh và thanh bình. Tầm nhìn ra sông đẹp nhất!! Tôi xin chân thành giới thiệu nơi này đến tất cả du khách, dù là người Trung Quốc hay người nước ngoài. Nếu bạn đến Hồng Thôn, đây là nơi tuyệt vời nhất! Tôi chắc chắn sẽ quay lại cùng bạn bè và gia đình! Nếu bạn đang tìm kiếm một nơi lưu trú ở huyện Nghĩa thì đừng tìm đâu xa. Đây là nơi lưu trú tốt nhất ở Hồng Thôn và trên toàn huyện!

Owners are very kind , friendly and helpful 😍. I booked villa for our family and the house is quite big (3bedrooms). The attic room super warm ( -4 when I visited ) but very dirty under the bed. The location is near to the gate. At the owner house has 2cat(mimi1 and mimi2) and 1dog(xiaobai). Owner help us to booked the car to Huangshan. (if you want to book the car for pick up from airport or train station please contact hotel directly the price will be cheaper than transport service at there ALOT!!!) 來到宏村，路過木畫説，被院中精緻吸引，火紅的山茶花掛滿枝頭，精巧的徽派樓台亭閣，溪水潺潺，禪茶軟榻。決定停下腳步，留在這裏享受一下慢慢遊的樂趣。進得房間，推窗既望到月沼，地理位置優越。民宿裏掌櫃的小帥哥很熱情真誠，服務意識到位，又不過分攬客推銷，另一位美女是四川妹妹，燒菜很好，正在籌建美食廚房，轉天中午給我們包了薺菜餛飩，味道很地道，清香可口，讓幾日旅途負重的胃口得以修整空

Chúng tôi ở Hoàng Sơn bốn đêm và nghỉ tại khách sạn này một đêm. Đó là trải nghiệm khách sạn tệ nhất! Không biết những đánh giá tốt này đến từ đâu. Thứ nhất, cơ sở vật chất kém, thứ hai, thái độ phục vụ trung bình, và thứ ba, giá cao! Khách sạn nằm ở cực bắc của khu vực danh lam thắng cảnh. Giường có độ cứng chấp nhận được và bộ đồ giường cũng chấp nhận được, nhưng tiện nghi phòng tắm thì hơi tệ. Dép dùng một lần sẽ trở nên trơn trượt n*** khi bị ướt. Tôi đã suýt trượt ngã nhiều lần và phải rất cẩn thận khi tắm! Điểm mấu chốt là thậm chí không có lấy một cái tay nắm cố định nào trong toàn bộ phòng tắm. Tôi không tìm được tay nắm cố định nên việc tắm rất nguy hiểm! Ngoài ra, bà chủ có vẻ đang có tâm trạng không tốt. Khi được hỏi có bao nhiêu phòng trong khách sạn, cô ấy trả lời với vẻ mặt buồn bã và miễn cưỡng nói là 7! Một điều nữa là nó quá đắt! Sau khi nhận phòng, tôi đi xem những nhà dân khác trong khu vực danh lam thắng cảnh. Phòng đôi có điều kiện và tiện nghi tốt hơn đều có giá từ 260 đến 280, vị trí cũng tốt hơn!

Zhang Mansion is a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the ancient village, its decor and furnishing is fitting with the historic setting but with modern, clean and comfortable amenities. Would definitely stay again and would strongly recommend to others! Hotel manager was very communicative, but you need to have WeChat. They can communicate in English by message with you. The rooms were stunning, service was excellent and the communal areas were beautiful and comfortable. Hotel breakfast was freshly made and they were able to accommodate our requests. Some of the rooms require ascending steep stairs, so if you have accessibility needs it would be best to inform the hotel in advance. Bedrooms are comfortable and cosy. The addition of the tea ceremony area is brilliant. The mattresses and bedding were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean with good pressure hot water. The hotel also put us in touch with a honest and reliable driver that we used for transfers from the bullet train station as well as a trip to Huang Shan (yellow mountain).

In general a nice relaxing stay. Good location to explore Hongcun and ancient towns. However, a little disappointed by the overall quality which is below my experience when compared to staying at other banyan tree properties. Little things like the clearness, maintenance of the property where paints are peeling etc. the most obvious is poor choice and quality of the breakfast .

對於自駕遊的人來説地理位置算是蠻不錯的，距離宏村、西遞都很近，開車半小以內可達，而且酒店本身所在的關麓也是一個古村落，整體自然環境是很好的。 房間設施：酒店很新，客房設施都比較現代化，儘可能的做到了智能操控，我們入住的房型是墨海，淋浴區域有私湯泡池，酒店準備玫瑰花瓣和浴鹽，很貼心。 餐廳：餐廳口味中規中矩，對我個人來説個別菜品微偏鹹 早餐：可選種類不多，但麪點檔的餛飩、麪條，芝麻包，豆沙包都非常好吃，西點不太好 性價比：整體來説性價比很不錯，推薦自駕
