Loved this guesthouse! The room was wonderful, tastefully and even stylishly decorated, with floor heating and a fantastic shower. Everything was spotless and new, and the gorgeous late-Ming / early-Qing courtyard has been meticulously restored. The owners were super welcoming and helpful. Make sure to eat here — the breakfast is great, and the dinner is even better.

Phòng ốc và khách sạn kết hợp những tinh hoa của Trung Quốc, truyền thống và hiện đại. Giường ngủ thoải mái với gối truyền thống và mềm mại. Bộ chăn ga gối đệm chất lượng cao tuyệt đẹp. Giấc ngủ ngon và thoải mái! Công nghệ hiện đại ở khắp mọi nơi. Khách sạn tọa lạc tại vị trí đẹp nhất ở Hồng Thôn. Gần mọi thứ nhưng vẫn yên tĩnh và thanh bình. Tầm nhìn ra sông đẹp nhất!! Tôi xin chân thành giới thiệu nơi này đến tất cả du khách, dù là người Trung Quốc hay người nước ngoài. Nếu bạn đến Hồng Thôn, đây là nơi tuyệt vời nhất! Tôi chắc chắn sẽ quay lại cùng bạn bè và gia đình! Nếu bạn đang tìm kiếm một nơi lưu trú ở huyện Nghĩa thì đừng tìm đâu xa. Đây là nơi lưu trú tốt nhất ở Hồng Thôn và trên toàn huyện!

A cosy hotel with attentive and friendly staff. I chose a room without the smell of tobacco, and it truly was odour-free. The location is quiet, and breakfast is served at the table in the dining area. The only downside to my stay was the behaviour of some inconsiderate guests who arrived around midnight, shouting at each other and watching television for about 2-3 hours. I reported this to reception, but it seems the staff were already asleep and unable to address the issue promptly.

This has to be the highlight of this trip to China. Tachuan is almost a complete resort by itself. We had tea by the creek, main meals overlooking a gorgeous paddy field, read near a stream. There are little activity areas dotted around the resort where you can experience dressing in hanfu, practise the zither, as well as play chess or practise your calligraphy. The staff has to be the best I encountered this whole travel, they went over and above what they needed to do, including bringing us on a hike to the nearby National Park. The National Park is a nice area to spend a morning at. Ducks and rabbits wander freely in the estate, and there are 2 adorable cats. There is free transport to or from Hong Cun, which is a Unesco village. Personally, I should have just explored Hong Cun for a afternoon and still return to stay another night at Ta Chuan, instead of spending one night at Hong Cun

Zhang Mansion is a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the ancient village, its decor and furnishing is fitting with the historic setting but with modern, clean and comfortable amenities. Would definitely stay again and would strongly recommend to others! Hotel manager was very communicative, but you need to have WeChat. They can communicate in English by message with you. The rooms were stunning, service was excellent and the communal areas were beautiful and comfortable. Hotel breakfast was freshly made and they were able to accommodate our requests. Some of the rooms require ascending steep stairs, so if you have accessibility needs it would be best to inform the hotel in advance. Bedrooms are comfortable and cosy. The addition of the tea ceremony area is brilliant. The mattresses and bedding were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean with good pressure hot water. The hotel also put us in touch with a honest and reliable driver that we used for transfers from the bullet train station as well as a trip to Huang Shan (yellow mountain).

真的要誇爆這家民宿，完美詮釋了“住進風景裏”的治癒感！民宿藏在塔川古村的清幽處，徽派韻味的園區安靜雅緻，推窗就是層疊的白牆黛瓦與漫山綠意（秋日更是紅葉入畫），晚風裡都是自然的清新氣息。房間乾淨整潔到無可挑剔，設施齊全又貼心，床品柔軟得讓人一夜好眠，全樓wifi覆蓋超流暢，停車也特別方便。最驚喜的是服務！前台小哥哥熱情又周到，有任何需求都秒迴應，親切感拉滿。民宿位置絕佳，步行就能打卡塔川核心景區，周邊還有咖啡館和餐館，出行覓食都省心。下次來塔川一定還選這家！

Good stay except for one small issue that should have been addressed better. The room I stayed in had faulty electrical connections so many light switches were mixed up and the bathroom shower light did not turn on. We had to shower in the dark. I raised the issue to a worker and she accused me of not knowing how to use light switches. She further complained to me about another customer who raised similar issues to her. It was very unprofessional. Later that day, a different worker came to the room to look at the problem and confirmed that the switches didn’t work, and he said there is no way to fix it. They did not offer anything to resolve the issue. I will not stay here again.
