My overall impression of the hotel is mixed. While the cleanliness of the rooms was acceptable during my two-day stay, it fell short of expectations, especially on the second day when the bed was not properly attended to. Additionally, while the hotel's appearance was satisfactory, its distance from the Eiffel Tower, approximately 6 kilometers, might deter some guests. Furthermore, I encountered some rudeness from the reception staff, particularly in the morning.

It is a good and clean hostel. It is also close to the metro station and easy access to the city center.

The sanitary conditions are not bad, the service attitude at the front desk is uneven, and I meet a very enthusiastic guy but also…

Everything is good except the shower. The room is super nice and clean.

Really nice place to stay. People are friendly and shower tools are good.Good location. Restaurant is good for breakfast. You can encounter people all over the world. That’s the choice!

Great location, feels very safe even walking back there at night (like 11pm) for solo female traveler definitely stay here, I honestly think Paris is pretty safe, but try to stay in area 1-5 tho

Impressive youth hostel in a great location with 20 mins walk to Notre Dame and 30 mins to the Lourve Museum. Good personal facilities in bucket bed, and a beautiful greenhouse cafe. The only issue was the shower, as you have to press it every 3-4 seconds.

I have stayed in different hostels in Asia and Europe, this is the worst one I have ever experienced so far (in terms of the hostel facilities). The only good thing I can think of is the cleanliness of the room. - They provide lockable storage box in the room which requires your own preparation of lock. But the size of storage was not big enough to fit a cabin suitcase or any larger item. - The bathroom, including the shower place, does not install any hook or rack, causing tremendous inconvenience to take shower or get change. The most inconvenient part is the water supply from the shower head is too limited, you can never rinse off the shampoo with one time of water supply. (You have to press the button to get water from the shower head) - Lack of common space. There is a common room on each floor, but not a huge space which allows you to gather people from all rooms. Not the ideal hostel if you want to meet people. - Small kitchen space: all the floors share a small cooking and dinning space with only around 2 ovens and 8 stoves in the kitchen. The air ventilation in the kitchen is not doing very well that you can smell the cooking gas right after you step in the floor. - Location: it is very close to a metro station, but the station is not on a junction of metro lines, it would be a bit inconvenient to travel around Paris. And not to mention that the front desk is extremely unhelpful. After all, there are better options in Paris at this price range.

Excellent location and friendly staff members. Definitely would recommend this place to friends and families.

Among the few hostels that I stayed this one value for money. The bunk beds are nice with own power outlet and lighting. The only issue is that there is no place to hang clothes or towel. The toilet is clean and it is daily maintain by cleaning staff. There is a common kitchen where you can cook, make hot drinks and all the pans and cookery you require to cook a simple meal. Like all other hostels, it’s the guests that mess it up and it’s no surprise that the kitchen wasn’t clean after using the stove while other hostels has wet and messy shared bathrooms. Apart from that minor issue this hostel is highly recommended. All bookings done online are maintained and records are all there when checking in and out. Very central location with short walks to train stations and attractions. Notre Dame cathedral is just 10mins walk away. This is a “must” book hostel for your next visit to Paris.

Overall it was good but there some issues like washroom was not clean. If you are on tight budget then book it otherwise not recommended at all.

I wanted to take a moment to write a review about my recent stay at your hostel. Overall, I had a great experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the rooms were spacious. It's worth mentioning, though, that there were a few mosquitoes buzzing around, which was a minor inconvenience. I must commend the front desk staff, especially the young lady who assisted me during my check-in. She was incredibly friendly and helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised by her height—impressive at 183cm! The facilities provided by your hostel were excellent. The common areas were well-maintained and provided a comfortable space for socializing and meeting fellow travelers. The amenities, such as the shared kitchen and communal areas, were clean and well-equipped. Moreover, I appreciated the convenient location of the hostel. It was easily accessible and close to public transportation, making it convenient for exploring the city. If I were to suggest any improvements, it would be great if you could address the mosquito issue, perhaps by implementing measures such as mosquito nets or providing mosquito repellents in the rooms. All in all, I had a pleasant stay at The People Hostel. The positive atmosphere, spacious rooms, and helpful staff made my experience enjoyable.
