It is possible to fish from the river bank for smaller fish (fishing permits are available locally) or 5 minutes away there are larger fish. There is a lot of wildlife to see, including ducks, kingfishers, egrets, herons, many birds of prey, fish, frogs, toads, pine martins, stoats and if you are very lucky a black mink.We are perfectly located in the heart of the Saint Chinian wine area, on the borders of the Languedoc Nature Park, the mountains and the Mediterranean beaches. With good weather April to October, the whole area is very popular for walking, exploring, wine and cycling, many competitions are held locally and The Tour de France is a frequent visitor to the area. and bikes can be hired locally..
