I recently stayed at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham Romulus Detroit Metro Airport, and it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end! The convenience of this location, just minutes from the airport, made my travel stress-free. Despite being so close to the airport, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, allowing me to rest peacefully. From the moment I checked in, the staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. Their professionalism and warmth made me feel welcomed and well cared for throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was plush and inviting, providing the perfect environment for a great night's sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including the fast Wi-Fi and the in-room coffee maker, which made my stay even more convenient. The complimentary breakfast was another highlight of my stay. With a nice variety of options, from fresh fruit to hot items like eggs and waffles, it was a great way to start the day before heading out. The shuttle service to and from the airport was prompt and efficient, making my travel logistics a breeze. The drivers were courteous and made sure I arrived at the airport with plenty of time to spare. Overall, my stay at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Romulus Detroit Metro Airport was nothing short of excellent. It was a short stay but it was pleasant! I have stayed in hotels that were $600+/night that weren’t even as up to par. I enjoyed this hotel, it was clean, tidy, and had every necessity. I would stay again!

I arrived at midnight, Super friendly desk staff, she offered me a bottle of water and cookies before I went to bed. Room was clean a/c was set at 70 so room was cool. They had up graded toilets to right height. Great for some that had to knee replacements. Pool and hot tub was clean. Would recommend hotel to anyone.

Had a reserved room, yet it was not available at check-in. Waited 2 hours as the staff prepared the room. Ended up with different room from what I reserved, but was told I couldn't do that initially since I booked 3rd party. Confusing and a bit of time lost. Front desk attitude changed after I contacted the 3rd party to be rebooked. Not very friendly then.
