Foshan Zumiao is located in Chancheng District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It was built in the period of 1078-1085 in the Northern Song Dynasty and Yuanfeng in the Yuan Dynasty. It was rebuilt in the five years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1372). By the early Qing Dynasty, it gradually became a temple building with complete system, rigorous structure and strong local characteristics. Guangxu 25 years (1899), the ancestral temple overhaul, the formation of today's ancestral temple complex. The ancestor temple of Zen City and Longmu Temple of Yuecheng City of Zhaoqing, together with the Chen Temple of Guangzhou, are the three treasures of Lingnan ancient architecture, and are now the national key cultural relics protection units. In the main hall of the ancestral temple, there are also many precious works of art, such as 70 pieces of 30 kinds of weapons, iron wall guards, giant bronze mirrors 1.31 meters in diameter, large copper tripod, bronze bells and incense burners. Iron ware has big iron tripod, iron tripod, iron painting and so on. The garden also displays stone inscription plaques, stone animals of Ming and Qing Dynasties, inscriptions of the Tang Dynasty "Zhenguan 2 years" chess characters Yangwen "Zen City" and replicas beside the stone tablets. Re-assembling the restored ceramic tile ridges, a large number of gold and wood carved building components, large iron-cast warrior statues, iron-cast Ruiwu, iron guns and so on. These exhibits reflect the superb craftsmanship of Zen City in Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is no wonder that some foreign friends who came to visit the ancestral temple praised it as "Palace of Oriental Folk Art".
