The height of the tower is 600 meters, it is the tallest TV tower of China and the third tallest TV tower in the world. You can walk along the river nearby, along the bridges or many other area to see this magnificent tower. You can pay 200RMB to reach the top of the tower. From there you will be able to see most of the city from above.

Guangzhou is a beautiful city with so many places to see. However, nothing quite takes your breath away like the Guangzhou Tower! A little about the tower: Construction on the Guangzhou Tower began in 2005 and the tower was opened in 2010 coinciding with the 16th Asian Games. The rooftop observatory was opened a year later in 2011. The entire tower including the antenna is an impressive 650m tall, making it the second tallest tower in the world. The view from atop the tower is one of a kind and you can see for miles around on a clear day! What to do in the tower: There are many things to do inside the Guangzhou Tower. On the lower level (80 to 170m) you can find a 4D cinema, play hall area, restaurants, coffee shops and outdoor gardens. In the middle of the tower you will the mind blowing Skywalk, the highest and longest open-air staircase in the world. Starting at 170m and going for another 170m with some of the floors laid with transparent glass (not for the faint of heart) The top level above the staircase offers a two story rotating restaurant and the upper observation levels, from which you can reach the terrace observation level. Getting There - Took bus 886 from my hotel to HaiXinSha GongYuan( 海心沙公园站). You can also take the metro. Best time to go is after 4pm so you can see everything in both light and after dark when all the lights come on. It’s so beautiful there. Watching the sunset 🌅 was absolutely amazing.
