What an amazing hotel!! The hotel was so beautiful with beautiful beaches. Beautiful pools. A lot of trees. Service was amazing. Good breakfast. Comfy room and amazing view from the balcony. Also free boat service to go to a nearby island. We were sad to leave this hotel and wished we stayed longer. Really there’s nothing negative we can say about this hotel. We will definitely stay here again next time we come back to Mauritius. Oh and they also gave us a bottle of white wine in the room! Now we are staying at another 5 star hotel but Shangri-la was so much better.

Great resort with great service. Spacious and a well thought out layout, with a more ‘adults’ side a more family friendly side. Would stay again.

Le Shangri- La dispose d’une île privée, ils vous emmènent avec un petit bateau et vous pouvez passer la journée là-bas avec restaurant et transat. C’est vraiment magnifique. Les chambres sont bien, nous avons prit une suite qui donne accès à la plage. Les restaurants sont très bon mais un peu chère.

We had a blessent time with our family @ shangi-la le Tousserok. Unfortunately there were no great options for familys with children below the age of 16. We couldn't participate bike tour, or Quad tours, neither a soccerball was to find in the resort. Neverless our Villa with pool was great and the staff there did everything to create us the most wonderful vacation. The Team members "Dan, Veeren, Medgee, Sweta & Sanesh with the 2 chef's in the cuisine Candeeah & Kailash" tried there hardest to read every wish from our eyes and give us the warmes feeling of a home. The kids and us adults loved them being around and were very thankful for them doing their job on such a high level of quality. Thank ya'll so much!!!!! Loscher Fam.

From the moment you arrive at Shangri-La Le Touessrok with a ring of the gong and the fabulous ambassador Jean-Marc, they indulge you with smiles, kindness and generosity. This cascades throughout the resort to ensure your stay is nothing but unforgettable. The style is beautiful; it smells divine; the food is delicious; the location is dreamy; the facilities are varied to accommodate everyone; and the staff are incredible. Nothing is too much trouble. It’s absolutely hooked us in. Shout outs to Clarel, Jean-Marc and the concierge team; Prakesh, Cecile, Nicole and Deeta in TSK; Rosario, Ricardo, Tracy and Dominik at the sports centre; Laurent in the gym; and Hibiscus suite housekeeping (for 432). Big thank you for everything you did to make our stay so memorable! We look forward to returning one day soon.

Fabulous hotel, wonderful food and even better great staff. Especially Anil at the adults pool. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Would highly recommend.

I had no bad points or complaints for this holiday. My family of 3 loved every minute of this place. This is the only holiday weve had that has no complaints. The food was amazing. The staff were next level. The attention to detail was superb. I cant say a bad word about it. This is the only resort we've stayed at that we'd return to. Mauritius is an expensive holiday destination but worth it. We all totally understood where the extra money went. In the end it was a 20k holiday for us, we really did push the boat out and didn't regret any of it. We ate the finest foods, drank the best drinks, had the best service, smoked the best cigars. Amazing. We stayed in a Frangipani suite and it was perfect. Loads of space. Top level minibar, top level service. It was Mauritius 'winter' which was very comfortable despite the wind most days. Our first week was quiet then the second stated to get a bit busier, this didn't affect the service one bit. This holiday was truly EPIC. People who made our holiday so much more special. Anil from the adult pool, Ponnen from Cocos, also from Cocos, Kush, Shabnam, Shish, Cid and Habibah. From Kushi restaurant Martin Luther what a chef, Fabien, Helena, Ben, David, Rakesh and Dario. What service and thank you for that, my son loved all your food. Kieran and John from room service. Fardeen Aleemoola from the private island. Divesh from Dine By Design for my birthday meal. Anil and John from our 3rd party boat trip, truly special and amazing. One of if not the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in worldwide, and the best I’ve stayed in on Mauritius (have previously stayed at Four Seasons, Anahita, Constance, Maradiva, Heratige). Everything from the rooms, to the staff, to the views, to the food, to the beaches, to the pools, to the watersports, to the private island, to the spa, to the gym was essentially flawless. The restaurants and bars look spectacular after the renovation! Special mention to Jean - Marc, Juahan (on the island) and Ponnen - all of whom consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best it could be! If I was going to have a grumble about anything it would be that we’d have liked more starters / picky bits on offer at the buffet given the price they charge for it, but the quality of the food was really good nonetheless. If you’re hesitating, don’t, just book it! We will definitely return.
