The hotel is older, but clean. They seem to be performing some upgrades, such as modernizing the locks on the rooms. That caused it checkin time to take a lot longer that what I normally experience. They seem under staffed, as the lady who was working the front desk was also working the breakfast serving food. She was running back and forth to do both jobs. Why don't they just make the food self service like other hotels? This poor gal actually had to make people's plates. I wanted to call out Bart, the maintenance guy, for pitching in and helping me with a few non-maintenance tasks when nobody else was available. He helped me with the different tasks: getting ice, getting utensils for dinner, and getting extra towels. Thank you, Bart! You want above and beyond, and I really appreciate your willingness to help me out!
