The Holiday Inn Express, Stockport is a stone's throw from the railway station, so it is ideal for anyone arriving by train. The rooms were spotless, receptionists were very helpful, and there was a very good breakfast. In short, it is ideal for any short stay in Stockport

Good rooms, great location, very good breakfast, easy, functional but very tasty evening meals if you need to relax after your journey.  

I’ve stayed here multiple times and the best part about this place is the location. It is central and just opposite to railway station.

I was feeling uncomfortable with the front desk service on my check out day. I just asked the front desk staff for a late check out request at 12:00 pm. The front desk staff asked my room no without a smiling face. After I told her the room no, she said a £20 will be charged for late check out. My request is for extension of one hour only. You can say something like… oh I am afraid we wont be unable to fulfil your request as our room has been fully booked today…. But if you really want to extend your stay for a few hours, you could pay a late check out fee if you’re willing to do so….

Really clean. Staff helpful. Breakfast great and plenty available just remember to get your breakfast before 9:30 as closes promptly

Breakfast was included but they never mentioned what time… i couldn’t have breakfast 😞
