ZZanriThe hotel location is lovely and we saw some beautiful sunsets. The boats transporting guests to and from the town were always punctual and they were willing to take us very early in the morning when we checked out, free of charge. The staff are very nice and helpful, but I get the feeling they're each doing about two people's jobs.
The restaurant isn't very good. Half the menu wasn't available and the food quality was average, with the exception of the squid (when they finally restocked it). Coffee is terrible. Also, they advertise happy hour, but when we wanted to order cocktails, we were told that there was no barman on duty and we could only have beers.
The facilities need an urgent upgrade. The rooms are fine, but from the outside, it resembles a dormitory or, to be morbid, a mental institution.
Also, they advertise snorkeling, but we were advised against going in the water and the pool has very chairs next to it.
Not sure if we'll book again.

KKerysLocation of the hotel was very close to the town however our room (pool view) was at the top and with lots of bags it’s quite the climb due to all the stairs. The staff were friendly and the rooms was fairly clean Just outdated, the window in our bathroom wouldn’t shut causing lizards and other small bugs to come In the room and the water in the shower would occasionally run cold. Other than than the room was a decent size and we had a pleasant stay

TT M ShaneIt's a basic few frills hotel that's perfect for us in its own way. It's right t on the highway, but interestingly quiet. The room is just right sized with a comfortable firm bed and clean, like I said - basic - who the heck comes to Coron to spend time in a room??? The staff is just really helpful and accommodating to our inquiries and needs. Just treat them like humans... I noticed some travelers who don't even have any respect... these people work hard. Anyways, the place is literally at the foot of Mount Tapyas so it was a challenging hike for 2 retired overweight seniors. Jaicobs is also a block away from Calle Real - the main tourist thoroughfare and the municipal building which housed the police and fire stations, so we felt compketely safe. Cafes, and restaurants also almost 10 steps away and we never had a problem choosing. One block away from San Agustin church, and theres an ATM across the street. I would highly recommend the place. It's reasonable and comfortable.

TTài khoản kháchOverall, average hotel. I was disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again.
Room: stayed 5 nights. The room has a mold smell upon entering that persisted even with the bathroom door closed. The toilet also flushed very slow and sometimes required 2 flushes. Room was spacious, and otherwise quite clean and comfortable. Quite dated and furniture had lots of dings/scratches which doesn’t really matter.
Staff: I always try to be friendly to service workers because I know their work is hard. The staff I encountered seemed grossly disinterested. On the day of check in, I asked for some water (as I had to wait a few hours till check in), and was asked to pay 65 php for a bottle, but I witnessed another guest receive one for free. Not sure what happened. Also had some communication issues regarding laundry that I had done with the hotel. Perhaps the staff is overworked.. I didn’t experience the friendliness that other reviewers speak of.
I do want to shout out Mou, the activities/tour coordinator! She was very friendly, and helpful in planning my activities. She helped address an issue I encountered with my tour very promptly and efficiently. Thank you Mou!
Also thank you to the security guards who helped me call tricycles!
I wouldn’t stay here again, nor would I recommend anyone to stay here.
Suggestions: I think communication needs to be improved. If a staff member is busy, it is OK for them to let the guest know that it will be a moment. Would also recommend addressing the mold smell in room 320.

TTài khoản kháchAmazing staff who help book tours and transport. Very good food (breakfast less so) but Filipino food (sisig and adobo) and sliders were great. The room was huge - I’m sorry I didn’t take photos of it! Water coolers throughout hotel and bottled water. However, this is not “newly refurbished” as advertised - wear and tear and old AC in the room. The pool is lovely and clean but we realised why there could be so many mosquitos - there is no pool pump so stagnant water (although regularly cleaned). So many mosquitos in our room day after day and the rooms smelt very fousty and damp. Yes it’s up a hill which I’ve seen on other reviews, but that’s coron! Deal with it haha. We paid 30PHP to get up the hill once, no dramas. Basic accommodation reflected on price but the mosquitos and damp smell were very disappointing to us.

TTài khoản kháchI booked this hotel because I had booked late and there weren’t many left! The hotel is situated out of town so it is very quiet. There are tricycles available just outside to take you down to the town. The breakfast is limited but very pleasant. The room itself was clean and the shower was great which is what I wanted after being out in the sea everyday! The internet at the hotel is reasonable. After reading reviews of no WiFi in the rooms, I was prepared to be off line but this wasn’t the case. The hotel only provide breakfast but the Tag resort opposite accepts walk ins to the restaurant and bar so you do not need to go down to town if you don’t want to. Overall I had a good experience here and would recommend it if you want a reasonably priced room away from the busy town

Расположение очень удобное, близко к центральной улице, но и не в шумном месте, нужно пройти минут 10, или доехать на трансфере из отеля, который выезжает каждые 30 минут. Завтрак разнообразный и вкусный, готовят панкейки и омлет по заказу. Если выбираете место чтобы плавать в бассейне, то лучше не сюда, он здесь слишком теплый и с большим кол-вом хлора. Отель не новый, но в целом все хорошо, каждый день убираются! Большое спасибо, нам очень понравилось 😍
