A wonderful experience, perfect service and, above all, an incredible project to support! We had a short stay, but everything was perfect. Well done to the founder and his entire team, who welcomed us in such an admirable way. The food is delicious, the staff are extremely attentive and the complex offers everything you could possibly want. The spa was also of a very high standard, with excellent massages.

Beautiful location with high-quality rooms that feel authentically designed on stilts. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and there’s also a well-equipped gym featuring treadmills, a barbell station, dumbbells, and a cable station.

The Farmhouse Resort is a beautiful complex and the staff extremely friendly. The spacious rooms in the traditional Khmer style offer all the necessary comforts for a relaxing stay and are nestled in a peaceful and green setting. The pools invite to cool down. The food is excellent with being topped by a fine dining experience at the restaurant UN. The visit to the Smiling Gecko Project was very impressive. The tour of the campus showed the various facilities - the schools, the agriculture, the crafts and production, the cultural center, etc. - and what is being done there and what is achieved there is almost unbelievable. Thank you very much for an unforgettable stay at the Smiling Gecko Project.

Very nice resort supporting a unique NGO. Rooms are in Khmer style, very spacious and clean. Staff is super nice! Did a tour of the farmhouse and what the NGO is doing is impressive! There are 2 beautiful swimming pools (one for adults only), a gym, a spa and 2 restaurants.

The Farmhouse Smiling Gecko is more than just a beautiful retreat – it’s a project driven by passion and purpose. The bungalows are stylish, most of the food comes from their own production, making the farm-to-table experience truly authentic, and the hospitality is simply heartwarming. What impressed me the most is the strong social commitment: education, craftsmanship, and sustainability are at the core of everything they do. It’s inspiring to see how the founder and his team positively impact so many lives. I can only highly recommend staying here – it’s a rewarding experience on so many levels.

A wonderful place, and an equally wonderful cause. The facilities are amazing (two lovely pools, two restaurants with excellent menus, luxurious lodges, etc), but it is only when you attend the guided tour and see what Smiling Gecko is really about that the entire resort comes alive. I cannot recommend this too highly. It was a pleasure to donate a little extra upon departure and I would urge other guests to do likewise.
