My family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise. The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site. One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days. At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us. Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

來宏村玩一定要住這家雲想緣宿，毫不誇張地説，這就是宏村最好的酒店！ 剛走進酒店大廳，我就被眼前的景色驚艷到了，大廳的風景就像一幅天然的水墨畫，讓人彷彿置身於仙境之中，這哪裡是大廳，簡直就是一幅絕美的風景畫！ 辦理好入住後，我迫不及待地來到房間。房間裏的智能語音控制系統太方便了，衹要輕輕説一聲“小雲管家”就能控制燈光、空調、窗簾等設備，簡直是懶人的福音！躺在床上，喊一句“關燈”，瞬間就能進入温馨的夢鄉，這種感覺太美妙了。 房間的佈局也很合理，兩張舒適的大床在榻榻米上，空間寬敞又温馨。床墊軟硬適中，被子柔軟親膚，我一覺睡到天亮，睡得特別踏實。衞生間裏的全智能馬桶更是讓人驚喜，各種功能一應俱全，使用起來非常舒適。 不得不提的是酒店的頂樓露台，簡直是拍照打卡的絕佳勝地！站在露台上，整個宏村的美景盡收眼底，遠處的山巒、白牆黑瓦的徽派建築，構成了一幅絕美的畫卷。尤其是在傍晚時分，夕陽的餘暉灑在無邊泳池上，隨手一拍都是大片。 除了房間和露台，酒店的設施也非常齊全。無邊泳池清澈見底。健身房裡的器材齊全，可以滿足不同客人的健身需求。洗衣房方便快捷，讓你在旅途中也能保持乾淨整潔。獨立茶室更是充滿了文化氣息，在這裏泡上一壺茶和老闆喝茶聊天感覺時間都慢了下來。 和某朵某季相比，雲想緣宿的優勢太明顯了。無論是兩張1.5米大床還是房間的智能設施，以及酒店的整體環境和服務，都遠超它們。而且，這裏的房價性價比超高，花同樣的錢，在這裡能享受到更優質的服務和更舒適的體驗。最後補充一句話，一樓餐廳徽菜很好吃，冬筍臘肉餐餐必點。

The service was great and the family was very kind. The garden, rooms and buildings were beautiful and very charming. The B&B dog was very cute and well behaved. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to explore the B&B and pet the dog as much as we wanted, since we spend most time at the nearby attractions! Both lunch, dinner and breakfast was great and the menu seemed to include a lot of delicious traditional Anhui cuisine. We had the stinky fish and braised chicken for dinner and it was absolutely amazing and interesting to try a different Chinese kitchen. We had a great stay and we would definitely recommend staying here!

Chủ nhà nghỉ cũng rất nhiệt tình trong việc sắp xếp phương tiện di chuyển đến nhà nghỉ và đến các điểm đến khác. Tuy nhiên, việc liên lạc với người điều hành qua Wechat, một ứng dụng địa phương, sẽ dễ dàng hơn nhiều. Hãy sử dụng Wechat để gọi điện đặt phương tiện di chuyển cho bất kỳ mục đích nào. Zhang Mansion is a peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of the ancient village, its decor and furnishing is fitting with the historic setting but with modern, clean and comfortable amenities. Would definitely stay again and would strongly recommend to others! Hotel manager was very communicative, but you need to have WeChat. They can communicate in English by message with you. The rooms were stunning, service was excellent and the communal areas were beautiful and comfortable. Hotel breakfast was freshly made and they were able to accommodate our requests. Some of the rooms require ascending steep stairs, so if you have accessibility needs it would be best to inform the hotel in advance. Bedrooms are comfortable and cosy. The addition of the tea ceremony area is brilliant. The mattresses and bedding were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean with good pressure hot water. The hotel also put us in touch with a honest and reliable driver that we used for transfers from the bullet train station as well as a trip to Huang Shan (yellow mountain).

In general a nice relaxing stay. Good location to explore Hongcun and ancient towns. However, a little disappointed by the overall quality which is below my experience when compared to staying at other banyan tree properties. Little things like the clearness, maintenance of the property where paints are peeling etc. the most obvious is poor choice and quality of the breakfast .

Good stay except for one small issue that should have been addressed better. The room I stayed in had faulty electrical connections so many light switches were mixed up and the bathroom shower light did not turn on. We had to shower in the dark. I raised the issue to a worker and she accused me of not knowing how to use light switches. She further complained to me about another customer who raised similar issues to her. It was very unprofessional. Later that day, a different worker came to the room to look at the problem and confirmed that the switches didn’t work, and he said there is no way to fix it. They did not offer anything to resolve the issue. I will not stay here again.
