TTài khoản kháchThe hotel is situated 15 minutes taxi ride from the Beppu station. So we have nowhere to go that night. But it's good enough to have hotspring and drinks in the hotel. The staff is very polite and can explain what you can do in English. Then you were lead to the room and tips rejected.
We booked the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast. The dinner time is either 6pm or 6:30pm and the breakfast time 8am or 8:30. The dinner is good but maybe my expectation is quite high, it didn't reach my expectation, especially for the sashimi.
For the onsen, there are 4 private onsens and 2 public. One of the private onsens is closed. Therefore we can use 3. You can use the private onsen when it is not occupied. Just lock the door and turn the plate to the other side. But all the onsen are closed by 12 midnight. And there is a room with free flow beer and soda, but it closes at 10pm. Don't drink beer before taking hotspring.
There is also an onsen in our room which can be used anytime. It's hot at night but not so hot in the next morning. Overall, the view is good. The staff is good. The food is good (just not so great) and the onsens are good. Beppu is a good place to stay a few days more

TTài khoản kháchBeppu Hostel U&T is outstanding in many areas of the hospitality industry. The premise is squeaky clean, the Japanese style beds were comfy & snug. The staff were helpful, courteous & we noted went about their chores unintrusively. The coin-operated washing machines & driers were easy to operate. We were pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere in the common area & astonishing array of beverages provided free for guests. We liked it's central location just across from Beppu Tower & short walking distance to stores & cafes. Highly recommended!

TTài khoản kháchBeautiful sea view from the room, and the balcony is super spacious! However, the room layout is quite tight, can’t even fully open a large luggage. Service is excellent, and the amenities are impressive, even providing skincare face masks. Really enjoyed the in room onsen. Perfect for honeymoon couples 👍

NNgười Dùng Ẩn DanhThe room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

•the foot bath is great with the sea view
•the coffee at the lounge is good but they should provide some japanese snacks
•the popcicle after onsen is delicious
•the onsen is small but it was nice and clean
•the dinner took a long time to eat we didn’t liked the appetizers but the sashimi was fresh and the hotpot was good with lobsters.hotate and puffer fish
•we missed the show at 21:30pm
•the free ramen is delicious we had fun making the ramen
•the bed was soft and we had a great sleep

The female dorm room is big. Showers and toilets are clean, with free shampoo conditioner and shower gel provided for guests. There is paid washing machine and dryer to use. And on the 5 floor the guests can use sauna for free.
Only negative point is there are cameras in the female dorm room.

JJunsgI stayed in Beppu for 4 nights, trying different onsens at different hotels.Tsuruta was my last Beppu hotel. Although the room i stayed in is rather dated and items worn out, all necessary equipment are working very well, i stayed at a newer 4.5 star hotel prior and the air-conditioner, hair dryer and toilet exhaust were noisy and faulty, while in the older Tsuruta where everything works well! This don't judge a book by its cover, older hotels is just as good! I've attached a photo of the park and harbour view from my room at Tsuruta.

MMoon RockThe staff is friendly and speaks English well; the place is quiet and cozy, and the location is perfect. It’s almost a distance to Beppu tourist attractions, especially the Beppu tower and Beppu JR stations. The hostel is also located near the port area, where you can relax and take a break.
The hostel also has a cafe, a spacious kitchen, and an artificial hot spring. Although some amenities are not included, you have to purchase them at the front desk, the accommodation cost is relatively cheap, so that’s okay. It's a good thing I have my own towels and other amenities.
I will definitely be back here when I return.
