My stay was amazing, great hotel the hotel safe were very helpful great staff, breakfast was delicious choice of meal and fruits all fresh , the in house amenities was fantastic, and the location was really nice for me . Rest assured I will be visiting again. Thanks you La Maison Royal. My overall experience was above expectations due to the bad reviews. Am happy I made my own decision. I was not disappointed

It was a nice place to stay when you’re in a budget. It’s located near the city where the malls and restaurants are situated and transport is convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful to us especially when we checked in very early in the morning.

The hotel needs a lot of maintenance care, coupled with cleanliness. I honest believe they can do better in that regard. Breakfast wasn’t all that good, but edible.

The hotel feels a bit out of the way but it has great food, a spacious room, one of the most comfortable mattresses i slept in while in the standard room, and decent water pressure.

It was a good experience with the hotel as we stayed for 2 weeks. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Any request was promptly handled and properly addressed. Courtesy of Mr Anil we had a very pleasant stay and his guidance was very helpful in many matters. The property is being upgraded and hopefully in future will be more pleasant.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience at La Maison Royal. Despite of selecting and paying for a deluxe queen room at the price of $82, I was provided with a standard small room priced at $63. This discrepancy in accommodation is concerning, and I feel it does not align with the standards expected from La Maison Royal. Additionally, when I requested an official invoice for the payment I had done, the document provided was a dummy Invoice lacked essential details, such as official KRA QR scan code. As a loyal customer, I expected a higher level of service and transparency. I am genuinely disheartened by this experience and feel compelled to address the matter further!!!!!

I stayed in La Maison Royale Hotel with my family for 2 nights, in August 2023 but also August of 2022 The room was extremely clean and comfortable, with the softest pillows, air conditioning, bathroom full of any toiletries you may need, mini fridge, TV — Anything you could possibly need. The free WiFi was speedy, efficient, and reached the room, and the dining area on the top floor. The breakfast was included, a delicious buffet served by friendly and helpful staff in a clean and tidy dining area. The pool was small and cold, but still clean and presentable. The hotel, which is located in South C, is approximately 20 minutes from the city centre. When taking a taxi, I would advise not taking it from directly outside the hotel, as these people tend to charge tourists more. ✩ ✩ ✩ ✩

rooms are not the same as the photos at all. i changed once cuz no window and still way too old and i can hear others room talking. they should post photos of real room they have. new rooms in the photos are occupied. so dont take a risk

Room was quietand tidy, and the reception was good and welcoming. There was free parking and the food was as set out on menu. The workers were polite and helpful. All that was promised was available, and there was room to be listened to for requests

You will find better wifi on the planet Mars. And I'm a very fair, patient and understanding person. There is a minimum length of 200 characters, so I'll also include the fact that my dinner was sitting cold in the kitchen for 45 minutes until I reminded the staff of my order. Book at your own risk.

La Maison Royale is a very nice place to stay, based on Nairobi standard. The hotel is in a quiet location, the place is fairly well mantained and looks welcoming, the staff is polite and friendly. There is no gym, despite what stated on the TripAdvisor page. What really overshadows the quality of this hotel is its restaurant. This is a place where you do not want to go to. Firstly, they have no flexibility in preparing food: what's on the menu is the only thing you can get. I asked for a small fruit salad and was told they only do large fruit platters, as per the menu. Three or four nights a week they have a 'happy hour': this means that the place turns into something that only a bunch of teenagers can possibly enjoy. It's like being a nightclub, with super loud music and a very unpleasant atmosphere overall. I wanted to have a quiet dinner after arriving from a long journey and asked the staff to please turn the music down a little. In response, the restaurant manager told me that I was welcome to go and have dinner in my room. As I insisted that I wanted to eat at a proper table, he then invited me to go and have dinner in the conference room nextdoor (where the music was a couple of decibells lower that in the actual restaurant hall). The staff is professional but unfriendly, and you are made to feel like everyone is worried that you may run away without paying for your bill (which, for some reason, they insist you should pay separately from the hotel bill). Overall, this is shocking for a 4 star hotel, and customers should not have this experience. I encourage the hotel manager to rethink his arrangements with the restaurant in order to offer a 360 degree good customer service.
