Introduction I have been traveling since the age of 16 and I am 50, I have visited the best hotels in the world I stayed for 2 days and I can say that apart from the price of around 180 euros per night for a double room the hotel is not worth a 3 star rating. Positive aspects Very nice hotel from the outside, the magnificent lobby is very impressive but there is no value for money Room designed in the 70s with. Salty desalinated water!!! There is no hook in the shower for robes Sink knobs with hot written in French and cold written in English!! Fixed shower that doesn't move and you can't adjust the flow of water! For the lights in the room there is no general switch to turn everything off from the bed and therefore you have to get up to do it Room safe not working and you are forced to use the one in reception every time. Lack of simple things like an umbrella for customers in case of rain!!! Lack of enough sockets to charge cell phones and other things Bathtub without hydromassage Positives Friendly and helpful hotel staff Very good and plentiful breakfast

Hardly ever write reviews but had to for this one. The Hasdrubal Prestige looks like it could possibly have been a 5-star hotel back in the 80s or 90s but is barely a 3-star property today. Pros: - Massive room Cons: - Room came with no bath towels, no blankets, half drunken bottle of water in the fridge, no room service menu, window in the bathroom that can be seen through from the outside, no utensils, etc. - One person manning the reception desk the whole day so service was extremely slow - Extremely unhelpful woman manning the front desk who was unable to call us a taxi and told us to just go outside in the scorching heat to flag one - Beach full of garbage and plastic bottles

Wonderful property .Very friendly staff. The room.are spacious and elegant with great amenities.Beautiful beach with clear water.Great value for money .Amazing food at the Tunisian restaurant .If you go make sure you order the brik and the Hadsrubal couscous.Definetly recommended .

It is five-star hotel but strangely there were very few guests. There was a group of french jews celebrating some special date and because of them there was no hot food or even hot coffee for breakfast on Saturday and reception gave me no straight answer. It was so quiet in the pool & beach areas that it felt like a ghost place. The staff was unprepared and somewhat unfriendly, lazy? It took them ages to prepare our table at breakfast or even clean the ones used and there were abundant flies. The accommodation is superb and our dinner which was included, very tasty.

The pools need urgent repairs, nearly all the furniture at the pools as well, a general cleaning would be very necessary, everywhere outside, the beach included. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are ok, but far away from a 5* standard. Several Restaurants and Bars are closed, it‘s a pity. The rooms are nice and very big, bit nobody needs this size of a hotel room during a summer holiday. Nice to have, but no need. The management should change several things urgently, an the tour operators should have a review op their quality quotations.

We enjoyed our stay at Hasdrubal Prestige Djerba a lot! We had the most beautiful view from our huge terrace to the pool area and to the sea. Our room was huge, super well equipped, and very comfortable. The hotel has a great SPA, many outdoor pools and the beach is right in front of it. We also enjoyed the food at their restaurant, they also offer some vegan options. This place is absolutely perfect for families, couples, and friends!

This spa resort is a hidden gem. Spacious property with the biggest outdoor pool I have ever seen. Rooms are huge, nicely appointed and very comfortable. The property is right on the beach and the hotel arranged for us to ride camels and horses from the convenience of the hotel. The restaurants offer a variety of fresh and flavorful dishes. The staff are welcoming and so willing to help and make you feel comfortable. This resort is very safe, peaceful and appeals to all travelers. We travel as a family but there were couples, single females and other families. The grounds are so big that you really don’t feel other guests. The spa is lovely and with indoor pool for adults (another separate indoor pool available for ages in another part of the resort). This resort is incredible value. We will be back!

Travelling from Canada we spent one week from July 20 to 27 with my wife and 2 kids (13 and 16). First time in Hasdrubal Prestige but not the first time in Djerba. We picked this hotel after reading the good reviews. We also tried to avoid the all inclusives because we were decided to spend time touring the island. Pros: The hotel is very clean and it has a great architecture. The rooms are very spacious and well organised. The majority of the staff are very professional and helpful. The beach is clean and the water is clear. My wife and daughter enjoyed the massage and found them very professionals. Cons: A number of employees are impolite, we heard them few times fighting and swearing in front of the customers. The menu for lunch is vert limited and a number of dishes were not available for the entire stay (i.e. pizzas). The pool walls were full of mildew and the pool was loosing the ceramic pieces. We were charged $3 for ice that we requested for the room service.

Hasdrubal Prestige Djerba has a great SPA, many outdoor pools and the beach / Mediterranean is right next door. Great amenities and views from the rooms. Also our room was super well equipped and very comfy. Perfect for families, couples and friends.

Le pire pour moi (s'il avait eu un vol pour rentrer j'aurais sans doute interrompu mon séjour): ce que certains appellent "musique", à savoir une suite de quelques rares notes sans âme, sans caractère, répétées toutes les minutes, que dis-je, toutes les 30 secondes, ce durant des heures, tous les jours les mêmes. Et impossible d'y échapper, je les entendais depuis le balcon, dans certaines parties du parc, durant le petit-déjeuner, durant les soins... et même au café maure! Il n'y avait que dans les parties "administratives", réception par exemple, où on pouvait y échapper . C'est au point que je me réveillais le matin en ayant entendant ces notes dans ma tête. Pour moi insupportable. Cette musique semble d'ailleurs poser problème au personnel: lors des soins, quand je demandai de couper le haut-parleur dans la pièce pour ne plus entendre que ce qui venait du couloir, la personne concernée me disait soit qu'elle était arrivée à ne plus entendre ces sons, soit des mots plus durs comme "ça me casse la tête "(sic). Il y a également certains manquements de la part du personnel, manquements sont difficilement compréhensibles dans un hôtel de cette catégorie, en particulier: • du personnel qui entre à grandes enjambées dans la chambre sans s'annoncer, ce qui est arrivé 3 fois alors que j'étais dans la chambre et qui a dû se produire aussi en mon absence. Vous pouvez imaginer la gêne de se trouver à moitié nu devant une dame. • à la réception, où l'on est correctement reçu, mais sans plus, des demandes suivies de promesses non tenues, 2 fois sur 3; un exemple: mon peignoir ayant été enlevé sans être remplacé et ne trouvant pas de femme de ménage dans les corridors, la réception, à laquelle j'ai signalé que j'aurai des soins dans moins d'une heure, m'a affirmé que le nécessaire serait immédiatement fait. Or 10 minutes avant les soins, rien; je me suis alors décidé à faire le tour du bâtiment, tombant enfin sur une charmante personne qui m'a dépanné. Lorsque je suis revenu des soins, il n'y avait toujours pas de peignoir... • au petit-déjeuner les services sont systématiquement enlevés dès que l'on va se resservir, sans que les responsables ne se demandent si le client en aura encore besoin, donc sans penser à soit les laisser, soit les remplacer. Je tiens tout de même à signaler que les soins étaient très bien et le personnel généralement aimable et souriant, sauf à la réception, exception faite de la personne fort sympathique qui m'a reçu à mon arrivée.

Ne vaut pas les 5 étoiles attribuées. Il faudrait penser à rénover les meubles des chambres mais encore plus à les dépoussiérer ( étant allergique, j!ai bien galéré dés mon arrivée). Je comprends que l'on soit hors saison, mais bon de là à tout fermer à l'exception du bar du lobby.. Restauration très moyenne, il fallait annoncer à.vos clients que le dîner serait servi au restaurant à la carte (1 entrée, 1 plat, 1 dessert)au lieu du buffet avant d'encaisser les frais de Demi Pension, chose qui relève de l'arnaque à mon humble avis. Personnel bienveillant malgré les mesures d!austérité imposées.

Bel hôtel avec jardins magnifiques et belles piscines extérireure, mais vieillissant sur certaines prestations. Grande suite très agréable avec terrasse mais literie usagée et malgré notre demande de la changer, rien n'a été fait. Couverture fournie tâchée. Problème pour l'utilisation du téléviseur, qui fonctionnait très mal (changement de chaînes compliqué et son affreux). Thalasso très bien avec un super accueil du personnel. Hors saison, tous les restaurants ne sont pas ouverts.
