Gliffaes Country House Hotel is situated in a spectacular position above the River Usk in South Wales. It is a hotel in the Brecon Beacons National Park and lies between the market towns of Abergavenny and Brecon. Set in 33 acres of beautiful grounds and mature woodlands, with the Black Mountains as its backdrop, Gliffaes Hotel boasts its own stretch of the River Usk where guests can enjoy a spot of fly fishing on the river teeming with trout and salmon. The hotel is renowned for its fishing and has won many Fishing Hotel of the Year awards. It has a mile of left bank fishing and another three quarters of a mile of double bank fishing known as Llandetty. Equipment is available to hire from the hotel. Each of the 23 individually styled bedrooms come with an en-suite bathroom - either with a shower or a bath or both - plus toiletries.
