Having to wait around to shower after an adventurous day can be daunting. Having two full baths eliminates that wait time. Our bathrooms are updated and have a full shower tub with towels for you to use. Hand-soap is provided but you will need to bring your own toothpaste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.The Bedrooms: The Pine Tree Getaway has two full bedrooms and an open loft area for extra sleeping, which is what allows the home to sleep 4-6 people. In the two bedrooms, you will find a queen bed, dresser and closet and the loft has two twin beds and a small dresser. There are plenty of pillows, warm comforters and blankets, and freshly laundered linens with each stay to help you unwind and rest up for the following day’s festivities. It is important to note, the stairs to the loft are steep with short treads. Although still manageable, it may be tricky if your legs are wobbly from a day full or skiing or hiking or an evening that ended with a nightcap.The Deck: This is where you can take in the fresh air and the beautiful view of the mountains. In the Summer and Fall, you will find an outdoor patio set with two benches on either side and a chair on each end which will comfortably seat 6 people. This gives you the ability to eat outside, play games, chat or just relax. The Decor: A rustic mountanous retreat with hints of modern, bohemian and mid century modern throughout.Technology: You will have access to wifi and a smart TV. You will need to bring your own phone charging cord.Washer and Dryer: There is a laundry room on the second floor with a large washer and dryer to use during your extended stays. Enjoy amazing views of the surrounding hills and two-acres of yard from the 360 sq. ft. back porch which runs the length of the home. The grill is ready for cooking and don't leave without a hang around the spacious fire pit area! "This home has been a dream of ours for a long time, and one that has had a whole lot of love and hard work poured into it. Our priority when searching for a home was a beautiful setting - I wanted to go to bed at night to the sound of the forest and wake up to birds singing in the trees. In addition to the beautiful surroundings, the house needed to have character built into its bones - a uniqueness deep down that any work redesigning could only help bring out, not create. In this home we found everything I wanted, and have worked long and hard to create a mid-century modern themed, rustic hillside retreat. The hope is that all of this hard work pays off when you smile with delight upon opening each door inside the home onto a uniquely designed space. Skiing and snowboarding dominate the wintertime activities roster, but don't forget about the often underrated snowshoeing and cross-country skiing available as well. During the summer enjoy the idyllic sunny days hiking the trails, visiting the spa, or sitting on the white sand of Hope Lake Beach (a 2-minute drive away). If more adventurous fare is what you have in mind, the mountain biking trails, indoor waterpark and outdoor adventure center (which includes a mountain rollercoaster and high ropes course!) should satisfy even the most extreme adrenaline junky. Trax Pub & Grill and Carver's Steakhouse are two wonderful restaurants within a minute of the property if you are looking for a nice dinner/drink out.
