Conveniently located minutes from Lake Lure and the Tryon International Equestrian Center, the Bluestar cabin is the picture-perfect place to stay in between leaf-peeping, antiquing, rock climbing, mountain biking, or kayaking at any of the nearby towns and parks.The spaceThe cabin sleeps 6; there is a bedroom with a queen bed, a loft with a queen bed, and twin bunk beds in the hallway. Wake up to the sun rising through the woods. Enjoy coffee or espresso while you cook breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen. Eat out on the deck or at the dinette table. Feel free to enjoy our trails; the access point is marked with signage. After lunch stroll through the orchard and help yourself to apples, and after dinner relax in the 7-person hot tub while you watch the sun set over the mountains! We have provided games and puzzles if it’s more your style; everything you need for a cabin getaway is here!Guest accessYou will have use of the entire cabin and access to our portion of the orchard (boundaries are marked with tape). You may also explore the forest behind the cabin; the trailhead is marked with a sign.Other things to note:There is no internet or tv here. The RetreatThis 8,600-square foot mansion is 8 bedrooms, 8.5 bathrooms. The Retreat brings forth a luxurious, family-friendly feeling in every room. Built with delicate and dedicated craftsmanship in every detail and garnished for a kings and queens. The Retreat will render incomparable memories. Ideal for corporate outings, golf excursions, family gatherings, or even spiritual retreats for two, four people, or an entire family/group. Master bedroom is the only room on main floor that has a kingsize bed and it has its own master bathroom with a half bath also located on main floor.There are two full size beds and a love seat size sofa in the room above the garage which is technically the basement. The 6 other bedrooms are on the second floor and basement and all have 1 queen size bed each.There are two sofas in the main living room and two more sofas and love seats in the basement.There are two dining rooms with a dining table in each room with a total of 14 dining chairs. There are 3 game tables.There a total of 12 flat screen televisions.There are a total of 4 couches.There are 16 arm chairs/love seats.There are 2 big desks and 8 side desks.There are 2 patio tables.There is an amazing pool table and poker room.There is an outdoor screen in, enclosed covered cigar terrace that accommodates 8-10 guests.The home is also equipped with a barbecue grill that is connected to a propane line, no need to mess with tanks.The home is in a gated community and is very private, but not isolated. The views from the back deck are absolutely wonderful.The property overlooks Brights Creek golf course. Note that there are several nice golf courses in the area but you can play a round of golf on our amazing championship course (designed by Tom Fazio) and also enjoy a delightful meal at our onsite restaurant.The interior of the home is exceptionally well done, with quality woodwork and high end furnishings. Every bedroom has its own beautiful bathroom which is perfect for large gatherings. The billiards/media room is spectacular.
