And it almost never has people on it. The mile long and quite walkable Redwood Nature Trail is just 9 miles away. And world famous Jedediah Smith Redwoods Park is just 22 miles south on US Highway 101.WILD RIVERSThe Chetco River, with some of the best salmon runs in the world plus a lot of trout and steelhead, runs right through Brookings.
