Very nice view, hot soup at rooftop with Fuji Mountain View, very nice Japanese style dinner and breakfast with excellent services. People there are friendly and helpful.

Excellent services,; superb location; delicious food. We enjoy a very good stay at this hotel.

We stayed for one night in Bettei Rin Japanese style room with mountain view and dinner. The Japanese lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. There weren’t many shops and restaurants nearby so you might have to take a bus to go around. The bus stop is just next to the hotel. The hotel sells some snacks and cup noodles but I do recommend to buy snacks from minimart near the train station to the hotel. The room has a large window for the impressive lake and fuji view. Even though it was cloudy and raining lightly a whole day, we enjoyed free onsen very much! There are an indoor bath in the 7th floor and an outdoor rooftop bath. We haven’t tried the rooftop one. The dinner was good. Fresh, have some variety, sufficient portion for us. The dining room service was great and welcoming. After checking out, we went to the train station by the hotel’s free shuttle service.

Hotel provides complimentary transfer from train station to hotel but limited transfer timing from hotel to train station. Able to get great view of the lake with Mount Fuji. Rooftop open air onsen which is great! Quality food is good. However compared with next door New Century Hotel at about SGD 250 cheaper, I think New Century is good enough although no open air onsen.

great onsen experience exact same view as picture from the onsen and in room. however mt fuji view is dependent on the weather condition of the day recommend to stay ＞ 1 night, plenty of places to explore via sightseeing buses

Staying at a ryokan facing Mount Fuji was like stepping into a different rhythm of life — one where everything slows down, and every detail feels intentional. Watching the sunrise over Fuji-san in the quiet morning light, soaking in the onsen with a view I’ll never forget, and sharing traditional meals that felt like art — these are the moments that stay with you. Grateful for the stillness, the hospitality, and the kind of memories that settle deep in your soul.

We were very much impressed with the hotel - great location, good service by staff, good dinner and breakfast with great Mount Fuji and lake view.  We can see Mount Fuji from our room. The onsen was larger than depicted in the website, and of course with Mount Fuji and lake view.  A memorable stay at Fuji Ginkei. 

We booked the lake view room, and the view is fantastic. If you are lucky, Mt.Fuji will greet you. The Onsen experience is also great and is the most important thing you can't be miss during your stay.

The hotel room is perfect and face to Mt.Fuji. The staff are very nice and help us to park the car. The dinner and breakfast are very delicious and we would like to stay in this hotel again. If there is a private outdoor hot spring, it will be perfect for this hotel.

We are a family of four and had two adjacent rooms on the fifth floor. Views from the room of the lake and Mt Fuji were magnificent. Service was excellent from the initial check-in, room-tour, dinner, breakfast, check-out, to the final waving good-bye. We were pleasantly surprised by both the dinner and breakfast. Food was colorful, well-presented and mostly delicious. Hotel had both indoor and outdoor public onsens. Onsen bath area was clean and water was hot and steamy. However, it was annoying that the water faucets had spring auto-shutoff (to save water). So one had to keep pressing the water on every 20 seconds or so. Also, to enjoy the public onsen, guest had to bring his/her own towels from the room. There were no additional towels provided at the public onsen. I wish the bath towels would be larger and fluffier. Overall a pleasant experience and would love to stay here again.

It's rare to start off a review with a warning but please please please remember to look at the bus schedules before you decide to go out for the hotel as you might end up walking 40 mins from Kawaguchiko station to the hotel. We were disappointed with the dinner as we already informed the hotel about the allergy restrictions few weeks ago but they still got it wrong. They checked it with us during check in and we corrected them already. However, when it's dinner time, we still found the item in meal... We corrected them again after dinner but the breakfast meal was still not corrected in the end. Pretty bad experience for us. But for the view... 5-star.

The hotel was very helpful when we arrived, they explained every detail about the things to do in the hotel area. We purchased the meal from the hotel, the food was great

Fantastic location with Mt Fuji visible right from the balcony in our bedroom, truly a breathtaking view! Cozy environment and clean. Delicious dinner and breakfast with a variety of Japanese Kaiseki Courses. Rooftop hot spring with fantastic views of Mt Fuji, highly recommended!
