Scammed.  I discovered the hotel I booked through Trip.com doesn’t even exist.  See pictures as advertised vs the pictures I took showing reality  All entrances were blocked and closed with construction materials, dumpsters, trucks, fences.    Finally Trop.com offered to refund me and compensate me for booking new hotel.   Then they denied it.  Every person on Trip.com that I called kept implying I was lying.

We spent 1 evening prior to a cruise at the Royal Beach Palace. Room had been renovated and the bed and the bedding were very comfortable. Actually the bed was more comfortable than some 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in.  No amenities at the hotel but directly across the street is a Bar & Grill where we had a most enjoyable evening. There is also a bakery in the same retail strip. Overall great value for your money particularly for a short stay. I’d be happy to stay  there again.

We stayed here one night before our cruise. Arrived late and left early. More like a Motel 6 where the door opens to the outside. The bed was comfortable and good for shower and price was good. Great breakfast place across the street. There was a lot of construction in the area.

Staff were nice, forgot my passport and they were efficient with that situation.

Very organized and clean place. Good location and amenities.

It is very noisy, because it is just side of street.

The room was a studio apartment and all remodeled . It was beautiful . All of the staff members were so nice and helpful the only little problem was the hundreds of sugar ants but it’s ok it was still worth it

Like everything in the area, they'll charge you for basically anything "extra" but the location was decent and the rooms were clean.

Wonderful location. Close to beaches and shopping. Parking is an issue. You must pay to park your car overnight. I believe it was $20, maybe $15. Otherwise you park in city parking spots that also require a fee and moving your car around to new spots as many don't allow overnight parking. The room was musty and I found a cockroach in the bathroom. Even so, at this price point, at this location, I would recommend to young people looking for a cheap place to stay.
