For the price I did not expect any more than a Travelodge quality, and I was not disappointed - it was a Travelodge quality, if anything the reception area is a bit below and the broken windows give the place a decidedly shabby appearance - there is not great kerb appeal. Inside is definitely worn, and could do with a good refresh... however, we then got to the room and were very pleasantly surprised. It appeared to be a newly refurbished room and the room itself and the bathroom were very pleasant - the broken window with card over it and the balcony with an old full carton of milk, was also not great. The room was hot, as there is no air con, the supplied stand fan did an adequate, if very loud, job of keeping the room cool enough to sleep in. Overall, it was serviceable.

We were treated very badly by the reception staff because we were late for 10pm check in, although we explained our car problems. We were asked to pay more money on top of the booking and the deposit fee. Even after paying an extra 80% booking fee We ended up not staying the room was dusty with rubbish on the floor. The staff did not show any remorse either. The experience was bad we had to book another hotel late at night.

family trip to seven sisters cliff. Hotel is in eastbourne town and near the beach. It is very and clean and the staff is nice.

The mattresses were stained with blood. The tables were not wiped. We found rubbish under the bed the walls had writing on. The bthroom was grubby wirh no plug. The nets had moypd in and tge windows cardboard and tape where they were smashed. Then there was the awful smell of shite on the 2nd floor. We left after one day

This hotel was shocking. It was not at all like the photos advertised, inside and outside. The carpets were full of dirty marks and the place had an awelful odor. The bed cover had grey stains and the windows were filthy. We landed up not staying as we did not feel safe. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Not used this hotel before but have stayed on the same road,not the most welcoming site on entering the building as front entrance stairs in poor state and full of cigarette ends.Reception service ok but was occasions when I came down and shouted and no one around,couldn't see a bell to ring either. Stairs and corridor on way to room seemed in poor state and a lot of the doors scratched and some damaged,lots of dirty linen just left lying about outside rooms.Had a single room which was on the small side but bathroom quite modern and had a bath,wooden floors with no rugs down,no hairdryer which is unheard of theses days.Had paid more for a 3rd night double room (just double bed in this case) as room too small and no room to walk around bed,bathroom very large but instead of a blind or curtain someone had put a shower curtain up at the window whilst the two windows in the room had two flimsy different curtains neither of which fitted. There was a distinct feeling that no women had any input in the place and only saw male staff when needed assistance .This accommodation is more suitable for single men booking at short notice as a cheaper option,the name Pearl and Pebbles gave me the thought of clean and bright which this was certainly not,wouldn't stay again

Our stay in Eastbourne was great as the location of the hotel accommodation is near the sea, the city and walkable from the Train Station. The reception (Amel) was very accommodating. The room is not the best (with few hair on the floor and some stained towels), however manageable as we brought spare towel and just cleaned and made the area comfortable for out stay.

Very basic hotel, but great location. Bed and sheets were lovely and clean!!!

Thank you for a lovely stay the location of the hotel was great for us. Being close to the start of the beachyhead race and then the beach and the pier was exactly what we needed. The parking permits were helpful to and we had no trouble with this. I would say having booked the deluxe room it was all great size for what we needed, the room could do with somewhere to hang some coats ot clothing, a mirror in the room itself would also be a great touch. A few downsides were the curtains didn't fit the windows probably and the room was very hot even with the heating down and the radiator off. All in all a great stay and we would come again, the staff were very helpful

Everything is acceptable for a budget hotel, except the shower water pressure is absolutely weak. Maybe because I was living on 3/F. The hotel is near to the coast and easy to find.

Everything is great, the attitude of the staff is excellent, the room was clean. I would like to see some broken parts fixed and the dust wiped off from above. The location of the hotel is super!

An average location, such as Eastbourne, that is far from the pier and town center, with high deposits and a no-pet policy, can make the search quite confusing for serious travelers or remote workers with pets. A very nice and friendly guy at the reception, but confused by the hotel's policies. Cannot explain me why the hotel appears in pet only search.
