Hotel Kloest

Hotel Kloest is located in the very center of Durres, 50 meters from the main street, and approximately 100 meters from the sea. We didn't have a reservation, but the staff made a great effort and offered us a better room at a lower price. The owner is exceptionally friendly and accommodated all our requests, as did the three younger employees. The rooms are very pleasant and clean. I highly recommend it

Hotel Kloest is a pleasant but basic hotel in a reasonably good location. It’s a pleasant walk to the waterfront promenade with its many restaurants and bars, though there are other hotels closer, and a similar walk in the opposite direction to the nearest shopping mall. The staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, if there’s rain the electricity will be on and off repeatedly every few minutes, which seems to wreak havoc with the air conditioning. The electricity and therefore the AC will go off in the middle of the night and the AC won’t come on again unless you get up and turn it on manually.

Very nice hotel, nice room, very good breakfast and helpful boys working at the hotel, they gave us good information about traditional restaurants and had answers to all our questions. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Very good location, close to center and beach. Nice, classical building with tasty and modern rooms. High quality. Good service, but small things like tight check out policy and extra payment for coffee refill make me deduct one star. Good airport service. 25 Euros.

We spent 3 nights in August with my husband. It was the best experience ever, the price was great, considering that the other hotels nearby were double of that price. The room was super clean, staff was great and helpful. We had a wonderful couple stay. I highly recommend this hotel for everyone visiting the city of Durres.

Stayed here for just one night at the end of my trip to Albania. Unfortunately arrived in torrential rain and had difficulty in finding the hotel but they were very helpful in guiding me in and able to park the car just alongside the hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. The room was small but well equipped and the 100-year old building was delightful and has had a great deal of love expended on it. Breakfast is excellent and taken downstairs by the entrance. I would certainly stay again if I come back here and hope to see more of Durres in the sunshine, which to be fair I have had for almost all of the preceding two weeks.

we stayed one night in kloest hotel late october. everthing about the hotel was top class. lovely comfortable room,great breakfast and really friendly and helpful staff. our only regret was we could not stay longer. when we return to albania we will definitely stay here for longer.

We stayed 3 nights fabulous close to the beach clean and quiet staff very frendly,lovely and tasty food sea view just perfect love the cold drink from room mini bar etc etc just perfect. Very lovely tasteful breakfast and it was delicious

Absolutely stellar service from check-in to check-out. Great breakfast, coffee, cocktails. The staff goes out of their way to make the stay the best. Had an a/c issue, dealt with immediately. Turns out it was us lol! Hands down the best stay
