Nice older hotel, working AC, new free indoor spa, good Sauna - breakfast standard but the room is too small (changing furniture would help a lot) Rates are slightly too much for "value" (okay around 90€)

The hotel is cozy and familiy's friendly, the reception desk was friendly and welcoming, Fatima at the reception desk was great. The breakfast is intercontinental buffet and had a variety of options besides great taste, Dinner is A LA carte menu and the chef is exceptional. We didn't use the outdoor pool since it's so cold but the Spa and the indoor pool was pretty nice، the Jacuzzi was out of order. Overall the location and services was pretty much great definitely deserves another visit.

Simpático Hotel com boas acomodações. Bom pequeno-almoço, com boa oferta e variedade. A piscina interior é uma experiência muito boa, pena o jacuzzi estar avariado. Tem ginásio com meia duzia de máquinas e a funcionar. Os funcionários foram sempre atenciosos e simpáticos.

O SPA é muito fixe para quem vai com crianças. Staff muito simpático e prestável. Excelente localização para quem vai às ruínas de conimbriga e museu p.o.r.o.s.

Located outside of Coimbra, this is a lovely hotel. The views over the countryside are beautiful. Solar panels heat the indoor pool and the grounds have some sculptures. The rooms are comfortable with good beds and nice furnishings. The food and wine were excellent, gracious serving staff. We were there with 2 groups and the staff handled it very well. Close to the University of Coimbra, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

A delightful hotel located in central Portugal. Excellent service, delicious food, and a fantastic breakfast await you. This space is adorned with contemporary art and features a lovely spa area. The sunset from the balcony is a must-see.

Majestic old hotel with great service, good food, wonderful spa, sauna, steam room and pool. We are on the Camino and went a bit out of our way and it was good value and a great rejuvenation place. The seafood soup stands out in our memory. Well done to the staff.

Location is superb. Very close to the Conimbriga site, the most extensive Roman remains in Portugal. Parking at the front of the hotel. Spacious lobby and very helpful staff. Our room was spacious and clean, with all the facilities you'd expect from a high-class hotel. The indoor pool area and sauna, etc, was brilliant, although the floor did get slippery. Did not try the outside pools in January!! Food was very good (choice and quality) without being exceptional. The staff in all areas of the hotel were exceptionally friendly and efficient. Maybe I got a good deal, but I considered our 3 night stay to be superb value for money. We will definitely be going back.

Stayed for two nights on a group tour of Portugal and used as a base to explore Coimbra and Tomar. Nice rooms in a converted manor house with mod cons and good views of the gardens and swimming pool area. Friendly staff and decent but small restaurant.
