Magic Natura Resort

Fantastic holiday went with family all 11 of us, staff were friendly and always there to help. The place is mega clean, the zoo we loved it also the pool Fantastic views. the food was great and lots of variety,the lodges were really clean but the downside was the walls were mega thin and you could hear everything. Definitely will come again

Overall we had a really good time here. We went premium and had 2 lodges in the Bali section with private hot tubs. The lodges were nice with little areas that needed some tlc - the showers were quite limescaley/rusty, the shelf in the bathroom was slanted and had a little block of wood under to keep it up. The rooms ventilation was also really poor leading to A LOT of condensation, even to the point where all the paper in our room was wet and curling up etc. The beds were very firm and not very comfortable. There were mini fridges, a kettle, microwave and Nespresso machine which were useful (the Nespresso machine was a bit temperamental when it would work or not). We requested a bed guard for our son as he is 4 and tends to fall out of the bed without one. There were plenty of wardrobes and drawers for clothes storage for 4 people too. One of the doors to the lodges didn't close by itself and this was left open a couple of times by housekeeping which could've led to personal belongings going missing but as far as we are aware this didn't happen. We also had a wet towel and swimming costume that was drying in the bathroom chucked into a suitcase making the rest of the contents wet too. Not sure why housekeeping done this. The hot tub was definitely the highlight of the lodges for us as the pools were freezing we spent most of our time in the hot tub when not out and about. The food in the restaurants was mostly good. We always found something to eat every day we went. It did get very repetitive towards the end of the week though. The food in the Italian was ok, the pasta was fresh but the portions weren't huge. The dessert selection in the Italian was not as good as the desserts in the buffet. The paella upstairs was very good, we enjoyed that. The starters for the upstairs restaurant was all the same food as the buffet food downstairs too. As we were premium guests we had access to the smaller buffet restaurant which was very nice, as the standard restaurant was very cramped, busy and loud. We did however notice there was a bit more food in the standard restaurant. We ordered pizza delivery once and this was fine except it was cold and late so I think we were the last to receive the delivery. It was edible but we didn't bother ordering again. There were plenty of pools around the resort for smaller kids and older kids/adults, as we went in April the weather wasn't the warmest and the water was quite cold but we did get in a couple of times. There were activities all through out the days spread out across the resort at the main bar and the larger pool area. There is a game section with a pool table and other arcade machines. There is a ping pong table by the larger pool too. Several bars scattered around in all areas by the pools too. There is a games console area too which you need to book a time slot to gain access. We stayed here in August 2024 and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes the lodge was a little tired and the shower felt a bit spongy under foot but for all the time we were in the room we couldn’t complain. The pizza delivery was a huge hit and the little bus was super helpful in whizzing round so we didn’t have to walk the hills up to the lodge. The pools were clean and the staff were so friendly. The elephant pool is just a dream spot to sit with a cocktail and watch the animals. The evening entertainment was alright but a holiday is what you make of it! There was not a large amount of british tourists which I found refreshing as some of the ones that were there did like the sound of their own voices a lot!

As a family, we all loved Magic Natura and were really sad to leave. From the moment we were greeted by the friendly reception staff to the buggy ride home, everyone treated us so well. The water park and the zoo are a great advantage to the park. My girls are old enough that they can explore themselves so didn’t have to worry about bored teenagers. The pools were great! I worried that they would be too busy but I never struggled to get a bed. Sometimes we’d go down to the water park late afternoon and it would be quite quiet and we’d just play in the huge pool with lots of beds to choose from. There are grey stripes on the floor to show you which beds are free for Magic Natura guests. I didn’t notice this at first. There is also a restaurant in the middle of the park that ultra all inclusive guests can use which was really handy. We loved the water fountains around the camp. You can just fill your bottle wherever you are to stay hydrated. Food: We really enjoyed the food. Lots of options for my little boy like nuggets and burgers etc and pancakes for breakfast. I loved the way the potatoes are cooked. There is definitely variety. We had pizza one night, sushi the next. As an ultra inclusive guest we tried the premium restaurants. Our favourite was the Italian. The kids loved the robot that brings the food over! Room: The rooms were very clean. We were fairly close to all the amenities. Yes there can be a lot of walking on park but we knew that and were all fit and healthy so didn’t worry us. Maids came each day to check for towels. Apartment was cleaned every few days. Great choice of tv stations. Top tip! On the remote there is a tools button to change the language to what suits you. Entertainment: big shout out to the team! They work so hard and put their soul into the shows. We spoke to a few in the restaurant and I think my daughter thought she was meeting celebrities! She was so happy they took the time to chat with her. Our favourite was the circus guy! The guy that runs the games is very funny and always interacting with guests. Drinks: Great choice of drinks! As a non drinker I loved the options of non alcoholic cocktails. Top tip! The rooftop bar makes the makes the best ones. The man that works that bar is a pleasure! Always smiling and has great music on. Grounds: I loved that there were so many different areas you could go depending on what you want. I loved having a coffee in the square in the afternoon and the area at the side of the cafe was nice and shaded and cool to hide from the sun. Shuttle bus: We used the bus on 4 different days. We found it really handy. We’d time our visit around the bus times. Taxis were great too but as a family of 6 it made more sense to use the bus. In town we went on the inflatable obstacle course. Amazing place this was our second time there and it was much better than the first. Simply because we knew our way around, (welcomingbis quite vague its more a case of find your own way) we knew to book Bali for better location. We knew to book restaurants in advance and what times suited us. We were able to use the app more this year and it was more updated. We didnt have any rain this holiday which was amazing because it is a bit poor here when it rains. Buffet is fab all food is labelled and they accommodate allergies Bar and cocktails fab they even had gluten free beer Restaurants fab...nice change from the buffet and again accommodated for sin gluten Delivery pizza great if you can't be bothered to get ready also sin gluten option which I'm told was lovely Entertainment staff fab Poolside Entertainment and facepainting Magic carpet Games Foam party Evening entertainment i would say hit or miss to be honest, but nice relaxing area where kids can play and dance while adults chill 🍹I would say for half hour/hour just put music on and let the kids dance on stage they had this one night and the kids absolutely loved it...I think maybe the entertainment cancelled but it was much better than some of the singing acts that have this slot. Water park and zoo facilities fab we made so much use of those. Ice cream car fab Games room fab Cleaning staff fab Cup system a little annoying...just bring your own For a family with young kids there is just very little to fault at this resort.

Currently Here – Last Night, No Sleep – Think Twice Before Booking I'm writing this on my last night at the hotel, lying awake because of the noisy guests around us. If you haven't booked yet, please read the most recent reviews carefully — and reconsider. If you’ve already booked, try to change your reservation, or at the very least, upgrade to the Premium and Ultra AI level. Standard rooms and service just don’t cut it here. The Good Water Park – Fantastic, although it’s a 15-minute walk away. That may not sound bad, but in this heat, it’s a real challenge, especially with kids. The Zoo – A nice bonus and surprisingly well done. Food Quality – Genuinely good. One of the few highlights of the stay. Drinks – Decent selection and availability. Games Room – Great for kids and a good way to escape the heat. Children’s Activities – Foam parties, entertainment, etc. – really well done and the kids loved them. The Bad The Hill – The hotel is built on a steep hill, making everything feel like a workout. The train (which is supposed to help guests get around) was out of action all week. Popping back to the room? Not an option. It makes relaxing feel like hard work. Bar Staff – just completely uninterested. Getting a drink or even simple service felt like an inconvenience to them. Room Cleaning – Our room wasn’t cleaned for the entire week until I complained to reception on the second-to-last day. Paper-Thin Walls – If you value your sleep, this is a major issue. You’ll hear everything from the rooms around you. Pools – Far too small for the number of guests. Always crowded and noisy. Rooms – Old, small, and very dated. Nothing like the photos. Dining & Entertainment Areas – More like a 2-star budget hotel. Very disappointing and not well-maintained. Plastic Cup System – Constantly swapping plastic cups is frustrating and not very hygienic. Reception – Incredibly frustrating. I tried to upgrade before our stay — was told to do it upon arrival, then was told there was no availability. Long queues, unhelpful staff, and a “text service” that’s completely ineffective. Overall: Disappointing. There are a few good things, especially for kids, but the basic experience – the accommodation, the service, the layout – just isn’t good enough. I wouldn’t come back, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re going for the premium experience and don’t mind putting up with a lot of hassle to get a few highlights.
