"Hotel room was basic but spotless, the aircon was excellent and left on all day for us, room cleaned everyday with fresh towels. All staff were helpful and pleasant called us taxis whenever we needed them and they were there within minutes. Big chest freezer full of ice bags perfect for balcony drinks the lady even gave us glasses and straws to take up. Location was perfect out of the hustle and bustle but within walking distance of everything. We were 2 girls celebrating my birthday. Walk to the beach just down the hill, lots of shops across the road and a proper super market. The centre of the old town is about a 10 min walk and into new town I’d say 20. We walked to the strip on our last night and glad we did lots of lovely cocktail bars on the way. Would recommend and stay here again."

The breakfast was not up to par, and if we hadn't asked for it, they wouldn't have brought it. "If you are thinking of booking this hotel and don't have kids you no longer need to keep thinking. Book it! We have been coming to Benidorm for fifteen years (two, three times a year) and sadly only stayed in this hotel three times since 2025. The staff steal the show of this hotel. Could not meet a more friendly, professional and funny team. The last manager/Director of this hotel was brilliant and friendly. So we were a bit apprehensive of the new manager/director as to making changes to the hotel. We had nothing to worry about. If anything, things improved and I don't know how that was possible. To the reception, bar staff, kitchen staff, waiting staff, maintenance, cleaners and director, we thank all of you. We have booked again. Look forward to seeing you all again. "Stayed in a 'premium' Tahiti Lodge with hottub on a 'ultra all inclusive' basis....what a dissapointment. The concept is great in theory - a holiday park with a zoo and water park right next door...the kids enjoyed it but for the adults the reality is unfortunatley far from great. There was no one major thing wrong, but just many many individual things that it actually became a bit of a comedy of errors and far too many list. Just as an example the sewage smell due to broken drains right next to our lodge, no wifi in the rooms, mildly warm often unlabelled food, dangerous railings around the hot tub, everything needed a deposite (towels, cups, safe, iron etc), customer service was often replaced with its on the 'app' that isnt accurate or doesnt work, the huge rat on the decking on the final night, tone dead evening entertainment, walls made of not kuch more than paper.......the list goes on and on and on. Didi from Customer Serivce did try to help as much as she could in all fairness, but no one actually visited us in the lodge so i could show them all the issues, i didn't want to spend my holiday getting wound up, logging issues constantly. If someone would like to reach out, i'm more than happy to provide feedback of all of the issues and areas for improvement so they dont get repeated complaints, but not i'm not paying for the luxury of providing feedback for free here so they can improve. To summarise, this is not a 'premium' 4 star resort in its current state, its quite run down and short staffed. Try Pirates Island if you can, much more modern, clean and tidy for what we saw on our day trip there."

"Great location to beach and the old town, staff very friendly and helpful, you can tell they have spent money on the bathrooms in the rooms as they were excellent and all the rooms had air-conditioning in. We was a large party of 12 (6 rooms in total) and thought it was great value for money, if we go back we would definitely look to stay there again."

"Overall, I think you always get what you pay for - I wouldn’t anticipate luxury for a 3 star hotel, but I wouldn’t anticipate somewhere unsightly either, and Lido fell right where it was supposed to. The front exterior wasn’t anything to write home about, but the lobby was clean and modern, and the reception staff were wonderful. I’m terrible with names, but one lady in particular (Rosa, maybe?) was a delight, always saying hello, good morning, and was always on hand to help. She was also fluent in Greek, which was a pleasant surprise for my Greek partner! (I know a lot of people have mentioned the process of reaching the hotel, so I will say - it’s quite an ordeal, but that’s no fault of the hotel itself! If you get a coach transfer, they will drop you off at the Burger King bus stop - our driver gave us instructions, but for my fellow anxious travellers, just head toward the beach and walk along until you reach a steep turn-off to the left, after Hot Spot Lounge Bar - that’s the one you’re looking for! Walk all the way up and around on your right side, past the little shop, past the Hotel Benikaktus and Lido is the blue building.) The room was clean and tidy, and the beds were turned over every day, which was nice. There is also an A/C system, which was a huge bonus, but as it’s all inclusive, there’s nowhere to make tea or coffee, and oddly no bin in the main room for the inevitable snack wrappers. There is a safe, which I didn’t end up using, and also a hairdryer in the bathroom. I will say there wasn’t an abundance of charging points in my room - my partner had one at his side of the bed, and there was a broken one next to the desk, so I ended up unplugging the tv to charge my phone (thankfully my wire was long enough - the tv was quite high up!). In terms of food - the breakfast was the highlight, though I’m biased, as I enjoy a good continental breakfast. There was a selection of cooked breakfast items, that varied depending on the day - bacon, fried egg, boiled egg, sausages, beans, etc. A selection of pastries, mostly croissants and pain au chocolates, and some biscuits. There was also a good amount of fruit, yoghurts, a couple of cereals, some cheeses and sliced meats, and plenty of bread for toasting. You can also access a variety of hot drinks, teas and coffees and hot chocolates, as well as orange juice, apple juice and water. Something to note though is, despite it being all-inclusive, you don’t get drinks with your lunch or dinner - you have to buy them from the small bar. I paid €4.20 for 2 bottles of water, for reference. I only had lunch once, but it was fine - breads, salads, spaghetti and a sauce. Also a few surprises - grilled swordfish, for example - and classic foods like paella. Dinner was also fine - the soup was a highlight for me personally - but fairly basic. You can always access some kind of chip / potato and bread if all else fails, but there were a selection of meats available - chicken, turkey, frie"

"Great hotel, I went with some friends and had two rooms. Friendly staff in the hote. We had only once breakfast on site , which was great. The other days we ate outside. The hotel is close to the streets with souvenirs, restaurants and tapas. Not far from the beach, so ideal for us. Clean hotel."

"We were looking forward to a well earned break at a beautiful hotel, having stayed at previous Meliá properties the expectations were high but this fell seriously short. The positives! The Botanic buffet restaurant at the Level had some great food. Restaurant Lima was very good. A handful of staff have great service such as Ximo, Jeyson and Miguel, all from Papamambo. The not so good! We had booked an all inclusive premium room through Jet 2. On arrival after pulling your cases across cobbled paving you find reception closed and to go to the Level reception. We arrived there and were told, we don't have any premium rooms available, you have been upgraded to a junior suite. Great we thought, until we saw the room. Dark, dingy, grass bank infront of us, definitely not an upgrade. Back to reception wanting the room we had booked and paid for. We can show you two more junior suites, one with a sea view! Both were better, one with a large terrace - SO WHY WERE WE NOT SHOWN THESE WHEN WE FIRST CHECKED IN?? By the morning we needed to change rooms due to the smell, a drainage or sewer smell, not very pleasant. We enquired about upgrading to the Level and were told that only the Royal Suite was available. We don't have all inclusive in the Level but you can keep it on this occasion. Great we had paid for this anyway! We would receive a phone call shortly to view the room. Waited and waited, went to reception - did no one call you? NO. Room looks very large and spacious with two balconies, one with sun most of the day. We paid the difference and took the room. Initial thoughts were wow, large lounge area, large bedroom, walk in wardrobe, separate toilet and large bathroom. Dig deeper and there are loads of issues. For a Royal Suite, their second best room, you would expect it to be faultless. Very, very dated not touched in the 20 years the hotel has been open. Door architrave falling off or buckling, lights hanging down, plug sockets not fitting properly, the terrace doors not closing fully and loose cord tiles on the balcony floor - actually dangerous. When you then look further at the Level, the 5* part, it is also very run down. The pool surround flooring has a lot of missing stones, walls have food splatterings on them and when we turned up for breakfast the griddle at the omlete and egg station still had the residue from the previous night meat on it, it has not been cleaned properly. The tables in the square were the entertainment was held, had but had the tables wiped in days. We used a wet wipe from the restaurant to wipe the table and it was black after. Staff, other than those mentioned were not great in their service to down right rude not just to us but also other guests. Presently it is school holidays in Spain and the hotel was about 90% Spanish. The service is definitely better and quicker if you are Spanish. "The hotel’s location is great, and the room is quite comfortable. However, upon checking in, I was assigned a room with a malfunctioning air conditioning unit. I promptly requested maintenance, but they didn’t send a technician. After multiple calls to the receptionist, they finally agreed to change my room, but their attitude was quite unpleasant. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options."
