Very nice and beautiful hotel, built with high-quality materials and a great design. However, my biggest disappointment was that a 5-star hotel did not provide complimentary water in the room, instead selling it for $4.50 per bottle. This is especially surprising in Costa Rica, considering that the room costs over $1000 per night. It feels quite disappointing and even greedy that they are unwilling to meet basic international standards of service. In my opinion, the management should take inspiration from hotels in Asia and the Middle East, where guest service is often much more thoughtful and complete. I felt that instead of providing small essentials as part of the service, they were trying to charge extra for everything, which negatively affected the overall experience.

We had a wonderful experience with Casa Luna! The hotel property is beautiful with an amazing garden. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious! The hotel staff are very nice and ready to help. One night we were walking in the garden, we ran into a hotel security, Dimas (hope I got the name right). We asked about animals. Dimas right away gave us a tour and showed us so many animals! We saw sloth, snake, frogs (including the green one), alligator, fresh water crab...all in the hotel garden!!! The garden is a paradise. Inside the hotel property, all we could hear was the sounds of insects, frogs, birds... We are so happy that we stayed at Casa Luna!

We enjoyed fantastic Arenal volcanic views from accommodation. Friendly staff and perfect location. Clean facilities and comfortable and cozy bedding.

Hotel localizado perto da La Fortuna Waterfall e da trilha para o cerro chato (lago onde uma vez foi a cratera de um vulcão). Excelente opção para quem quiser fazer a trilha, já que os não-hóspedes precisam pagar uma taxa de 15 dólares para ingressar na propriedade (a trilha começa dentro do terreno do hotel). A trilha não é para todos, nível de dificuldade é elevado. Quartos antigos, mas funcionais. Funcionários simpáticos e prestativos.
