Our recent stay at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru was truly magical. We were visiting to celebrate two very special milestones: our 5th wedding anniversary and our youngest daughter’s 1st birthday. Before our arrival, I reached out to the resort to share our situation, hoping for a smooth stay with two young children. Ezmareena Ismail (Nurish) responded promptly, ensuring that the resort was well aware of our needs. Upon check-in, a gentleman named Jordan (if I recall correctly) went above and beyond by upgrading our room to better accommodate the extra bed we requested for the kids. The surprises didn't stop there. When we entered the room, we were deeply moved to find a thoughtful letter and beautiful flowers prepared by the staff to celebrate our anniversary. It was a heartwarming gesture that made us feel truly valued. Throughout our stay, Melania kept in constant touch via text messages to ensure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Thanks to the incredible staff and their genuine hospitality, our family had a blissful and memorable holiday. I cannot recommend Shangri-La Tanjung Aru enough for anyone looking for an exceptional experience. We are so grateful for the wonderful memories!

The resort is very easy to get to from Kota Kinabalu airport. Using the Grab app makes it convenient to call a car to take you to the Jesselton Point to catch the boat to the resort. The resort is quite beautiful and clean. Reading other reviews, I wasn’t quite sure why several had complaints about the price and food. The food was all excellent - fresh and reasonably priced. We ate at both specialty restaurants as well - Fisherman’s Cove and Omakase - and both were excellent. The breakfast and dinner buffets had a lot of variety to choose from and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we loved the sea view from our terrace. The bathroom was well-equipped and spacious. The pool was very clean and there were plenty of sun chairs to choose from. The gift shop had many cute items. The spa is beautiful and the massage was amazing! What needs improvement - the bathtub in our villa was a bit dirty with some dead bugs. It’s fantastic that they offer a complimentary boat shuttle to the other bay near the marine center but it’s extremely littered with plastic. I asked the staff for a garbage bag and ended up collecting about 5 kg worth of garbage from the beach and sea. This should be the government policy or authorities responsibility - they need to clean it up and charge fines for littering. Overall, we loved this resort and wanted to stay longer. We definitely recommend staying here. I would like to specifically mention Aileen, Rozana, Nathaniel and Shadar for making our stay memorable and comfortable.

Khách sạn nằm ở trung tâm phố ***a, cách sân bay 20 phút. Gần đó có các trung tâm mua sắm lớn và rất thuận tiện để ăn uống tại các nhà hàng nổi tiếng. Đây là lần thứ ba tôi ở lại. Khách sạn tuy hơi cũ nhưng trang thiết bị đầy đủ, nhân viên phục vụ có thái độ rất tốt, rất tiết kiệm chi phí và thuận tiện cho việc đi lại.

I had an amazing experience staying at a five-star hotel. The service was exceptional from the moment I arrived. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a stunning view. The facilities such as the swimming pool, spa, and restaurants were world-class. The food was delicious and offered a wide variety of choices. Overall, it was a luxurious and comfortable stay that truly met the standards of a five-star hotel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a premium hotel experience.

Hello my name awang from kota kinabalu,i stay at Greenage Homestay for 1 night at blue daze. The house is so beautiful with room and wall design ideas. Greenage Homestay are very recommended for family trip,almost house facility are safe to use. Television,air condition,fan kitchen appliances and washing machine are high quality type. we will stay again soon. thank you Greenage Homestay kk.

Definitely value for money. Good location with walking distance to Imago shopping mall, Filipino market and famous restaurants nearby. Nice sea view from the room. Cleanliness of the room also above expectation. Breakfast was average but acceptable.
