Stayed here for one night before an early flight. The room was clean and comfortable, view to the Airport and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant is currently under renovation, but this was well managed with no construction noise at all. The free shuttle to the airport takes about 5 minutes, which makes this hotel very convenient for transit stays. Overall a pleasant, hassle-free stopover.

The hotel provides great basic amenities for me to have a comfortable stay. The location is great, only 2-min walk to the cat statue and then can continue walking along the waterfront. The breakfast buffet spread also decent, i love their fried rice and fresh pineapple and orange juice. The staff also very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great service!

The location is superb, walkable distance to Darul Hana bridge, India Street, Carpenter Street and Borneo Cultures Museum. Plaza Merdeka is right beside the hotel, you can go to the mall through hotel lobby. I love how comfy the bed is and receptionist is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

The hotel is centrally located and beside the Waterfront. However, the condition of the hotel looked rundown with poor maintenance in the room carpet and bathroom room and also the faulty lift. The level of customer is below average as compared to my previous stay. The management needs to pull up it's socks as the quality of the hotel has deteriorated so much since my last stay.

I had a truly pleasant experience staying at the Grand Margherita Hotel in Kuching. The location is excellent—right by the waterfront—making it very convenient for sightseeing, relaxing walks, and exploring nearby attractions and eateries. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing environment throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, which made the whole experience even better. Breakfast had a good selection, with both local and international options, and the dining area was comfortable and spacious. Facilities like the pool and common areas were also well-kept and enjoyable. Overall, Grand Margherita Hotel offers great comfort, good service, and an ideal location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Kuching, whether for leisure or business.

Both left and right are surrounded by either pub or karaoke lounge. Not recommended if need a peaceful stay & good night sleep. However, it has good basement car parks to ensure safety parking. Hopefully the hotel will do better sound proof to all windows especially all superior rooms.

Whether you’re traveling solo, with a partner, or even with family, the room size can easily accommodate extra luggage or a few hours of in-room activities without making the space feel overcrowded. One of the first things I appreciated was how clean and organized everything was upon arrival. The bed was neatly made, the floor spotless, and all surfaces dust-free. The layout of the room was practical, with the furniture arranged in a way that made the space feel both functional and cozy. The bed was large and comfortable, providing excellent rest after a long day. The pillows and blankets provided were also of good quality, not too stiff and not too soft—just right for a peaceful night’s sleep. Amenities in the room were impressive and met all basic needs for a comfortable stay. Firstly, the hot water functioned perfectly, which is always a plus point in any accommodation. Some places advertise hot showers only for you to find lukewarm water at best—but not here. The water pressure was just right, and the shower area was clean and equipped with enough towels and toiletries to last through the stay. Another amenity that stood out was the mini fridge. This was particularly convenient as I was able to store snacks and drinks to enjoy at my leisure. It worked well and was clean inside—no foul smells or leftover stains. It's always great to have a functioning fridge in the room, especially for longer stays. There was also a television available in the room, which offered a decent selection of channels. While I didn’t spend too much time watching TV, it was a nice option to have, especially if you're planning on relaxing in the room for the evening. The remote worked, and the image quality was clear with no issues in signal. Small touches like a clothes rack, a mirror, and a desk or table were also present, which added to the practicality of the room. It was easy to keep things organized and have a spot to sit down and work or eat if needed. Overall, I would say this stay was well worth the value. The room was not only large and comfortable but also thoughtfully equipped with everything one might need for a short or even extended stay. It’s clear that attention was paid to guest comfort and convenience. For anyone looking for a spacious, clean, and well-maintained place with all the essential amenities functioning as expected, I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Parking is located quite far from the main area; however, buggy services are available and helpful. All staff members were very friendly, attentive, and supportive throughout our stay. The room was spacious. Although we did not receive a full sea view—only a partial one—the scenery was still stunning. The ambience of the resort is very refreshing, with high ceilings and a breezy environment that creates a relaxing atmosphere. There are many activities available, and the resort is within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Swimming is not very suitable due to strong tides, but the soft sand makes it ideal for children to play. There are two large pools: one specifically designed for children with slides, and another main pool where mini kayaks and floating flamingos are available for rent. The kids’ activity area is very creative, with games such as dam ular and various board games. The breakfast buffet offered a good range of choices, although I had a better dining experience during a previous visit for work purposes. Unfortunately, room service dining was not satisfactory—the fries were soggy, the fried rice was overly oily, and the carbonara was average. There was also some confusion regarding a 20% insider discount, as we were initially informed it was applicable, but later told that the discount was only valid at Horizon Café not in room service. They should explain better :( Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and with some improvements—particularly in maintenance and food quality—it could be an even better experience.

The Miri City Centre, Imperial Mall and the famous Waterfront are just a short ride away. The Room: Compact & Comfortable My Standard Room was compact but very well-designed. It had everything I needed: · A supremely comfortable bed with quality linens. · A powerful, quiet air-conditioner (a must in Miri's humidity). · A large flat-screen TV with local and international channels. · A clean, modern bathroom with an excellent hot rain shower. · Thoughtful amenities like a ceiling fan, mini-fridge, electric kettle, and free bottled water. Services & Facilities The service here is efficient and friendly. The front desk staff were helpful fast with check-in/out. · Free Wi-Fi: The internet was reliable and fast enough for video calls and streaming. · Secure Parking: Available on-site, which was a major relief.
