Holiday Inn Express Bradford offers clean, comfortable rooms and great value for money. The staff are friendly and efficient, and breakfast has a good variety for a quick start to the day. The location is ideal, especially if you’re visiting the nearby leisure complex or heading into the city centre. During my stay, one of the staff members went out of their way to help when I realised I’d forgotten my charger—they found a spare at reception and saved my evening. That small gesture really added a personal touch and made the stay feel even more welcoming. Overall, it’s a reliable and hassle-free place to stay for a short trip.

We strongly recommend this hotel where we have stayed many times before. The service, free breakfast, rooms and location are excellent. The location is very close to trains and buses and also only a short walking distance to the City Centre. Really excellent for a wonderful short break.

Have stayed before, but on arrival was informed there was no room available, but upgraded to the 3rd floor at no extra charge. Room was very good, but the lift was out of order. Will stay again, only complaint is the £10 daily charge. As there is no CCTV you can park without paying.

The photos of the house are different from what I saw in person. The hotel has been refurbished from an old house. The windows, room carpet in the shower room and my own room are new. However, I can still feel the wind coming in during the night. The heating is set to work only during certain hours. I even wear my hat when sleeping to keep warm. I would say the staff keep the environment clean. For the price—£35 for one night—it’s okay. At least it is clean.

Hotel was very nice, clean & great breakfast. The check in experience was not good. Check in was from 2pm and as we arrived early and our room was not ready we went for some food in the bar. Approximately 2.15 went to collect our key and told there would be a 15 to 20 mins delay due to housekeeping not finishing all the rooms. No system for coming to tell you when room ready or offer of a drink. Had to go twice to ask if the room was ready as others who had just arrived seemed to get booked straight in. It was going up to 3pm before we entered our room which spoilt our plans for the afternoon.

From the moment I arrived until the second I left I felt truly taken care of. The staff were incredibly friendly the room was spotless The bed was unbelievably comfortable. Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations. This was hands down one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to come back. Highly highly recommend. I found it difficult to find any of the staff, but once I did - nothing was too much trouble. all very friendly and helpful. The place is quite dated and needs a makeover badly. Gardens were nice and the location was perfect for me. Food was OK but breakfast was very dry, but tasty. Again the staff were especially good.

YYan15Nice location close to city center. Unfortunately we weren’t able to heat up/microwave our daughter’s food who have food allergies unlike when we stayed in Leonardo Hotel Birmingham where they accommodated our request. We had a nice stay though, enjoyed roaming around Leeds and the hotel is close to the train station as well so it was very convenient.

For example, leaky shower pipe, worn out shower, fridge in room was great but it didn't really make my drinks cold enough, the window was a bit small making the room not lit up enough during the day, even though the tv had WiFi it wasn't a smart tv and I couldn't connect my phone to it. A bit disappointing because it was a large tv lol To make things worse, I was trying to order food at the bar and the person asked me to sit down so that he can take my order from the table. I did that, and he never came back even though he was serving customers seated around me. It was awkward and I was almost amused by it. When I left, he asked me ”no food order?” Lol . Anyway, overall it was moderately pleasant would give it 3 out 5

They were complaining about people paying in cash as they were running out of change. There are still a lot of people who only use cash, myself included. The breakfast was quite good but disappointed that you didn't have any butter, just margarine, which I feel tastes disgusting. I think for the prices paid that you could stretch to a bit f butter.

Central location, welcoming opulent entrance and reception areas.Vintage Tiles, chandeliers , wrought iron staircases, high ceilings. It has been refurbished- some rooms are yet to undergo the transformation. . Our room had  been refurbished- black tiled bathroom , a forceful shower and deep bath. Fridge and tea/coffee making facilities and as it was an executive room - robe and slippers.  Bradford is going through some gentrification - some dowdy areas and yet there  are  areas of inspiration such as the central square set amongst lovely historic buildings . The tunnels- and pubs/ eateries within are magical( see pic attached, truly ‘ a world of imagination ‘) The Alhambra Theatre - art deco.
