Our stay at the J. Mountain hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. I rarely leave reviews but our 3 nights here were so stunningly exceptional that we felt driven to express our gratitude and appreciation for the stellar staff, service, and beautiful setting of this hidden gem of a hotel. The service was without exception some of the best if not the best I have ever experienced at a hotel, and I travel often, having visited over 20 countries in the last few years alone and stayed at many beautiful and well-known five-star hotels and brands. Despite being a very young hotel (having just opened in September) J. Mountain Hotel holds its own and then some. It began months before our stay when we reached out to the hotel on WeChat to ask for guidance on equipment, tickets, and transportation. As we are visiting from America the area isn’t necessarily the easiest to access or plan for. Responses were almost immediate no matter when we reached out and always went above and beyond. For instance, my mother is nearly 70 and although very active was worried about slipping and falling while hiking in icier conditions; they offered to even purchase crampons for us should we wish although they advised us we would not need them for the time of year we were here (they were right). While here their thoughtfulness included texting us updates on and warning us about inclement weather while we were hiking around Huang Shan (there is cell service), drying and fluffing our wet gear when we returned from a particularly wet hike, and most astounding of all resolving an incredibly stressful issue we had with an upcoming flight that had been canceled (they suggested and secured alternative means of transport to a second city and then arranged for a different flight with the airline directly). We must specifically give our thanks to Hotel Manager Ryan, who is young but clearly extremely talented and excels in his role. He not only oversaw and proactively sought to help us on every front but was responsible for resolving our flight emergency. He also clearly had directed staff to help us to their utmost ability at all times, including having breakfast and dinner ready for and served to us at the times we requested. Ryan also personally met us and gave us a tour of the hotel and its history and design, as well as accompanied us to the art gallery and an evening tea tasting held in the gorgeous tea house on the grounds. He checked in with us every day and night and made sure everything was to our liking. Driver Wang Kai was our personal chauffer throughout the stay and was extremely courteous, professional, and attentive; he was always there to pick us up and see us off at multiple locations throughout our trip and not once were we ever allowed to wait. He even brought us hotel slippers and large down jackets to change into out of our soaking wet gear when picking us up at the end of a hike. When we said we did not think we would need some of the gear they offer their guests, we noticed he packed it in the car just in case we changed our minds and needed them later. I could literally go on and on but wanted to make sure I left room to appreciate how beautiful the hotel itself is and how much attention to detail has gone into its design and planning; at almost every turn we discovered something that added to the ease, enjoyment, and comfort of our stay. J. Mountain Hotel, thank you for one of the best experiences we have had in many, many years.

Our family of 13 recently spent three nights at Shanyu Life and Huangshan Design hotel and the experience was delightful. The location is excellent—about a 10‑minute drive from the Huangshan park entrance—yet the hotel sits in a quiet area surrounded by mountains and tea plantations. The hotel’s free shuttle to Huangshan was extremely convenient for a group of our size. The resort offers spacious rooms with high‑quality finishes and fittings; All 7 of our rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, with comfortable bedding and bathroom amenities that made for a very relaxing stay. The property is so tastefully designed that we were content to simply linger in the common areas after breakfast, sipping tea or practicing Chinese calligraphy in the serene setting. The highlight of our visit was the outstanding service from the staff, who were consistently caring, attentive, and proactive in anticipating our needs. They handled several ad‑hoc requests even before our arrival and continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay so that every member of our family felt well looked after. We particularly enjoyed the welcome hot tea while hotel owner Fang Fei introduced many interesting places to visit around Huangshan. The team also arranged a half‑day excursion to Mukeng Village Bamboo Forest, where the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was filmed, and it was amazing climbing the hills through such dense bamboo forest. After long days of sightseeing and mountain climbing, it was a joy to return to the resort, where a warm and hearty dinner awaited us, making it feel like coming home each evening. Fang Fei is also a tea master, and she not only taught us a lot about Huangshan’s famous teas but also hosted a tea‑appreciation and meditation session for us, which was exactly what our family needed after hectic travels through many Chinese cities before arriving in Huangshan. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable, and this hotel is highly recommended to anyone planning to visit Huangshan.

Sau bữa tối, chúng tôi lên Đỉnh Đan Hà để ngắm hoàng hôn. Đi được nửa đường, chúng tôi không thể leo tiếp được nữa nên không ngắm được toàn bộ hoàng hôn, nhưng quang cảnh hoàng hôn vẫn rất đẹp. Có một chương trình biểu diễn đặc biệt của khách sạn vào khoảng 7 giờ tối, khá sôi động. Các nghệ sĩ đã làm hết sức mình và bọn trẻ rất thích. Bình minh vào ngày thứ hai cũng rất thuận tiện, chỉ mất 15 phút đi bộ. Có rất nhiều người, và đó là một bầu không khí tuyệt vời để cùng nhau ngắm bình minh. My family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise. The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site. One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days. At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us. Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

In general a nice relaxing stay. Good location to explore Hongcun and ancient towns. However, a little disappointed by the overall quality which is below my experience when compared to staying at other banyan tree properties. Little things like the clearness, maintenance of the property where paints are peeling etc. the most obvious is poor choice and quality of the breakfast .

酒店今年新開業，設施很新，關閉門窗情況下不可避免地還是有些裝修味道的，但開窗會有蚊蟲，但是卻又沒有安裝窗紗門紗，不過酒店也配置了空氣凈化器可以打開運行。我們入住的套房是頂層，屋頂挑高，顯得非常寬敞明亮。房間裝修也是現在流行的大氣簡潔風格，可惜洗臉盆的設計有問題，好看不實用，導致總是排水不凈，總有餘水滯留在池內。另外我們入住的房間是朝向鄉村馬路的，而隔着馬路對面有當地村民院內養着十幾衹雞鵝，半夜三點就開始有公雞打鳴，時斷時續，吵得我們無法熟睡。將近兩千的價格不能保證安靜的睡眠環境，入住體驗肯定還是打了折扣的。酒店離黛鰲山景區大門很近，步行幾分鐘便可到達。即使在國慶節期間，和其他熱門景區相比，這裏景區遊客也是寥寥，對於我們這種喜歡安靜、討厭人從眾、希望避開國慶節期間客流高峯的遊客來説，入住這裡是一種很好的選擇。除了離景區近，就餐也很方便。酒店本身就提供餐飲，當然價格也不菲。在距離快到達酒店大約700米處公路左手邊有家叫黛鰲山人家的夫妻店餐館，我們就餐選擇這裏，午餐晚餐吃了幾次都覺得味道不錯，性價比可以，所以就餐也不是問題。酒店內針對住客舉辦的活動不少，什麼早上打八段錦、做手工香囊之類的，可以看出來酒店方還是花了不少心思的。酒店有游泳池，即使入秋了，也還是有遊客打卡游泳的。酒店管理有序，工作人員都積極熱情，退房時還非常貼心地送了我們中秋節月餅禮盒。廬江有秀美的湖光山色和豐富的旅遊資源，高端酒店民宿也是在近幾年來、在被劃歸合肥城市區域後快速開發建設發展起來的，衷心希望廬江旅遊業酒店業能興旺發達，希望廬江能夠成為合肥市民休閑度假的後花園。
