Hi. My wife and I bought this house 4years ago and it came with 2 semi attached rental units. They are now up and running after a bit of work and bringing up to date. 2 lovely rooms one with a view of Golden Bay and the other a view of the driveway. the Blue Moon is the one with the view of the driveway Hence the difference in price. Great place to stay for visiting what’s around here and there is plenty to see no matter what direction you go. Very central to Abel Tasman National Parks, Nelson Lakes, Mapua Village, and Kina Peninsula. Kaiteriteri is only 20 minutes away and the Motueka Wharf only 2 minutes away. The bike trail is only round the corner from our property. Straight off the Coastal Highway, very easy to find and yet set in a rural setting but also views to the Tasman Bay Sea. There is off street parking for the car too.If the nights get a bit chilly there is a toasty warm Studio wood fire (which I love), very very cosy.The Great Taste Cycle Trail: We are just a couple of minutes from the Wharf where the Mapua Ferry carries people and their bikes connecting Mapua to Rabbit Is as part of the cycle trail linking to Nelson and the other way to Kaiteriteri.The Wharf and the village has a variety of unique shops show casing local artists work, restaurants and cafes fish and chip shop and the Golden Bear Brewery (boutique brewery) often has live music for you to kick back relax and enjoy. I want to mention too that Godwits migrate all the way from Alaska (11000km) to spent time with us and they come to our estuary which is at the end of our street. I find that amazing.
