Saigon, also knows as Ho Chi Minh City, is the most booming up and coming city, this was my first time visiting Vietnam and I have a lot of fun in Saigon.
Ho Chi Minh is Vietnam’s largest city, a combination of commercial building and historical sites, some attractions include Cu Chi Tunnel, which served as a base for the military operations during Vietnam War. The Binh Tay Market, Ho Chi Minh Central Post Office - which is a glorious French colonial architecture, as well as the Notre Dame Cathedral.
At night, it is recommended to visit Bui View walking street, it is one of the most happening street where you can find a lot of drinking bars and street food stall along the street.
For me, the concept is fresh, but the exterior of the place looks better than the interiors. Interiors looks slightly shady, especially the staircase access, which put us slightly off. We went during lunch hour and the place was pretty empty, most of the restaurants/cafe was rather empty as well. Didnt look tempting enough for me to try ay of the places. Nonetheless, it's a refreshing concept and the building is insta-worthy. You may not be as skeptical as us or more open to trying the food and drinks there.
Is a must visit place in Ho Chi Min City(aka HCMC). There are a lot of cafes in the apartment. I would recommend if you’re in a group of young people with good stamina, save your money and climb all the way up and explore the apartment itself. I visited Orientea which the ambience is very Chinese and really attracted to me. Their blooming flower tea is a must try!
this felt like i was touring in some province in the Philippines. ♥️ Wind breeze, the laid-back living of the people, and the warmth of the locals are just like what we have here in the country. This was just a chill yet fun tour I had when I visited Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The tour guide was a funny man 🤣 I would love to visit other parts of Vietnam.
We started our trip in Ho Chi Minh City, which is located in the south of Vietnam, and felt such a burst of energy even at the airport! So much hustle + bustle was happening in this city, and there were crowds of people everywhere we looked! I thought the motorbikes and drivers in Bali were crazy… but I’ve never seen anything like Vietnam drivers, haha. The city was electric!! We only had one short night here, but made sure to wake up early to enjoy all that we could. We know now for next time to have more than just one night in this fun city! We stayed in an airbnb near Binh Than market and ate some late night street food ((which is all the rage in Vietnam)), and in the morning explored the market. From veggies to raw meat, flowers to clothing, electronics to spices, this market literally had it all! We loved the vibes of this city and next time we come back, we really want to be able to visit some of the famous museums in the area from what they call, the American War.
Iconic “Pink church” Tan Dinh Church, Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon, Cafe Apartment, Chill Skybar, Pho Di Bo Bui Vien, Ben Thanh Market and my superb Airbnb stay at TNR The Gold View! awesome trip well planned and well spent with great peeps!
Located in Ho Chi Minh city, this striking pink church is the main eye-catcher when you’re exploring the town. Tons of tourists hang around the church eager to take a picture with it.
I recommend for you to go during the evening right before the sunset. That way, you won’t be in the sizzling heat and you can get a glimpse of the beautiful church right when the sun goes down.
this is very famous place for buffet dinner in saigon, everyone coif you ever come to Ho Chi Minh city then you should come here , very good food and the staff service was great 👍
