We recently stayed at this hotel and were very impressed by the staff — they were consistently friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable, which made a positive difference. However, the interior of the rooms did not quite match the photos provided online. Our group stayed in three different rooms, and unfortunately, none of the thermal meters were functioning properly. The rooms were uncomfortably hot, making it difficult to fall asleep. In my own room, the washbasin was also clogged, which caused further inconvenience.

必須表揚一下這個規模雖小但是很驚艷的小酒店，特別是它的衞生間淋浴系統，這是一個月在法國和英國旅行以來，淋浴設施最滿意的一家，沒有之一！而且樓下餐廳的味道也很好很方便，住宿的客人還享受9折優惠，強烈推薦這套精緻的小酒店。

The place was nice and simple. Very good location near the station and not far from the city centre. Good value for money if you are looking for somewhere to stay for a few nights. Staff were pleasant.

Explorers Retreat Matlock Bath was a unique and fun experience! As a solo traveler, I loved the quirky cabins and the adventurous atmosphere. The location was stunning, with easy access to beautiful walks and the charming town of Matlock Bath. While the facilities were basic, the overall experience was fantastic. It's a great choice for anyone seeking a bit of adventure and a taste of nature.

I mean the hotel was ok but The some of the staff made me feel like i was not welcome there i would not be in a hurry to stay there again and i think it was bit silly that they only accept card because i feel like they should take both in my opion.

We used to live this hotel since December 2023. This time during our stay the bathroom curtain was very stingy and it’s bad smell spread all over the room. The staff and other facilities are always good. If they take little more care of cleanliness then it would be commendable.
