Im okay with the hotel however they cant provide another room with good heater. It was chilly in my room, heater is not functioning well. I did not complete my 3 nights stay, after a day, i moved to another hotel, i requested to move to another room but they said No, however I found from this platform that there are available during that time.

Một chuyến đi rất hạnh phúc vì khách sạn này. Đầu tiên mình nhận phòng thì Dongdong phục vụ tốt, nâng cấp phòng, lúc mình đặt thì mỗi phòng chỉ có bữa sáng cho một người, họ cũng chu đáo cung cấp bữa sáng cho mỗi phòng một người. Thứ hai, khi bước vào phòng, tôi thấy một chiếc toilet thông minh, điều này khiến tôi ấn tượng gấp bội, tuy phòng không lớn nhưng ấm áp và sạch sẽ, tôi cũng thích cách trang trí. Cuối cùng khi trả phòng, tôi đến phía Bắc Đài Bắc và được tặng trước một quán trà chiều (do nhận phòng muộn vào ban đêm nên thường chỉ có sau 2 giờ chiều), nhà hàng Trung Quốc được đề xuất cũng rất ngon, và Tôi cũng đã tặng nó một món quà lưu niệm. Đó là một chuyến đi rất thú vị, bởi vì sự phục vụ nhiệt tình và nồng hậu của họ khiến việc đi lại trong dịp Tết trở nên an toàn. Amway tới mọi người bạn đến Hoàng Sơn.

We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination!
On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient.
I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it!
The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed.
The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey.
There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times.
The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes.
A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather!
The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains!
He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out.
We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

TTài khoản kháchMy family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise.
The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days.
At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us.
Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

MMinzLadyMafiazOwners are very kind , friendly and helpful 😍. I booked villa for our family and the house is quite big (3bedrooms). The attic room super warm ( -4 when I visited ) but very dirty under the bed. The location is near to the gate. At the owner house has 2cat(mimi1 and mimi2) and 1dog(xiaobai).
Owner help us to booked the car to Huangshan. (if you want to book the car for pick up from airport or train station please contact hotel directly the price will be cheaper than transport service at there ALOT!!!)

TTài khoản kháchNot checking the weather in advance, I failed to climb Mount Huangshan due to Meiyu Unexpectedly , I enjoyed my second solo travel every much . Without going outside , I was fascinated by the view outside the villa through the window . The mountains , the farmlands, the old house made of the mud make up the most beautiful scenery . Listening to the rhythm of the rain , It is amazing to lie on the tatami by the window and watch the landscape quietly . Sometimes , I like staying at the top of the villa and did nothing ,surrounded by the mountains . Only in this way could I find my inner peace . More incredibly , it was not long before I made friends with Mengmeng , an elegant lady of my age with her witty girl from Beijing. My solo travel transformed into a small group . We visited Huangshan emerald valley , also known as Valentine's Valley and Huangshan mountain waterfalls together even if there was a big rain . Despite ten minutes’ride between Huangshan and Homestay , the guide Xu , the owner of this villa , rode us to the attractions we wanted to visit for free as well as the professional arrangements for our trips . Meanwhile , his wife did the local cuisine to feast our appetite . Usually , we had a wonderful chat in our free time on the first floor where we had meals . Especially , Xu’s son an adorable boy whose face is like an apple with a pink-white skin . So next time , I will visit there again with my husband , son and friends . This villa where rooms are tidy and smart like our home deserves the countless visits .

The owner was incredibly hospitable and helpful — she assisted us with check-in, helped us purchase a product online, and even with our laundry. We highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional care and support of its guests.

We loved our stay at Villa Emerald Valley especially due to:
+ Lovely hosts: super friendly, multi generational, from the neighborhood and always keen to fulfill all our wishes even before we knew them
+ Bright, modern, clean and cosy rooms: Big windows, clean and modern bathroom facilities (great hot shower that is truly needed after a day in the mountain), really comfy beds, water boiler, etc.
+ Nice common area: game room, restaurant, tea table, small pool
+ Tasty food: breakfast, lunch and dinner freshly prepared, many options (also vegetarian), fresh fruits and tea, decent prices -＞ we loved their tomato&egg, bamboo, qingcai and tofu dishes
+ Smooth communication and great service: quick responses via WeChat, airport pick up (200¥ one way), support with ticket booking for huangshan, carrying luggage, extra fruits, etc.
+ Emerging into the community: as it was tea harvest time, the hosts took us to the tea mountain close by where we could help picking tea leaves
+ Location: huangshan is overall really touristy with a lot of group tourism and thus overall probably not the nicest place to stay for a longer time. However, the home stay, while being close to all main tourist attractions, lies very calm and right beside the mountains where locals live and work, so it does not feel touristy at all and you could easily spend several days there to explore and relax
Also , the hosts can speak some English, so communication for foreigners is not a problem.

SSiewJooFloral Songye is very service-oriented. Shon, who can speak English, helped us plan our hiking trips and advised us on the nearby attractions. They helped us get rides and book us tickets at a lower price than we can get them ourselves. They also provided us with free rides to and from Huangshan and nearby attractions. They have quite a good menu at their restaurant and the food is delicious. The rooms are very comfortable and they provided us with free tea and snacks. The hotel is right next to the beautiful Emerald Valley. We would definitely stay with this family hotel again when we next visit Huangshan.
