The room was spacious and the air conditioning was comfortably cold, which I really appreciated. However, the carpet was dirty and there were noticeable cigarette marks on it, which affected the overall cleanliness. The shower pressure was just okay, not very strong. With some improvements in cleanliness and maintenance, the stay could be much better.

Never expecting this such great location, Just walk within 10 min to Pasar Philipin,wet market,grocery and so on . Amenities well prepared, staff was so kind. I forgot her name. Check in late evening and she really helpful and full of greeting. And one more things, i LEFT MY WALLET here, And after arriving at the airport i noticed my wallet was lost or missing. Then i call the receptionist, THEY KEPT my wallet . 😭 All staff members are so kind! From cleaning services till the front desk ! KUDOS! I will come again!! THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU! I cant thank you enough.

Although theree was an error on the booking system at my side...but they solve the problem easily by giving me a room with seaview..(seems to be an upgrade to me) the room is clean and the cleaner did their job really well too by adding more towel rather than change my towel...for the breakfast it's good, though the only problem is their drinks is bland...thats all

Very much satisfied with almost everything, especially the size of the room and proce. It's hard to get rooms this big with this rate nowadays. Comfortable. Good service. I do agree with other guests mentioning about water stains on the bathroom glass wall but it doesn't bother me that much. the hotel is a bit old I guess. the corner of the room has chipped wood. there's no tissue provided in the room, there's only rolled tissue in the bathroom. but overall im satisfied.

This place seriously blew me away. Located above Imago mall and styled like a high-end hotel, the room felt ultra-luxurious from the moment I walked in. Yes, it’s on the pricier side — but you can see and feel where the money goes. Every detail screams premium: a Dyson hairdryer, thick and fluffy slippers, electronic blinds, touch-control lighting, and a stunning bathtub that instantly sets the mood for a relaxing stay. The design is sleek, modern, and Instagram-worthy in every corner. What truly sets this place apart is the generosity in amenities. Instead of the standard small bottled water, they provide 1500ml drinking water, plus free-flow drinking water and soft drinks to enjoy anytime. Even the Starbucks cups added a classy, thoughtful touch that made the stay feel extra special. On top of all that, parking is provided, making it incredibly convenient — especially with the mall right downstairs. This isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s an experience. JJoy’s familyOur recent stay at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru was truly magical. We were visiting to celebrate two very special milestones: our 5th wedding anniversary and our youngest daughter’s 1st birthday. Before our arrival, I reached out to the resort to share our situation, hoping for a smooth stay with two young children. Ezmareena Ismail (Nurish) responded promptly, ensuring that the resort was well aware of our needs. Upon check-in, a gentleman named Jordan (if I recall correctly) went above and beyond by upgrading our room to better accommodate the extra bed we requested for the kids. The surprises didn't stop there. When we entered the room, we were deeply moved to find a thoughtful letter and beautiful flowers prepared by the staff to celebrate our anniversary. It was a heartwarming gesture that made us feel truly valued. Throughout our stay, Melania kept in constant touch via text messages to ensure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Thanks to the incredible staff and their genuine hospitality, our family had a blissful and memorable holiday. I cannot recommend Shangri-La Tanjung Aru enough for anyone looking for an exceptional experience. We are so grateful for the wonderful memories!

RRROY2015Tôi xin bắt đầu với những khía cạnh tốt. Phong cảnh đẹp, nhân viên phục vụ rất lịch sự và bố cục tổng thể của ngôi nhà mang phong cách đảo. Sau đó là những bất lợi. Không có wifi và hầu hết các phòng thậm chí không có tín hiệu điện thoại di động. Truyền hình vệ tinh cũng bị tắt khi trời mưa. Có một số loại hình thể thao dưới nước (lặn với ống thở và chèo thuyền miễn phí, không được phép câu cá và lặn sâu chỉ dành cho người có kinh nghiệm). Dịch vụ mát-xa tại spa kết thúc lúc 5 giờ chiều và không thể đặt trước. Nền nhà nghiêng. Chỉ có một nhà hàng và bạn không được mang theo đồ uống của riêng mình. Bữa sáng không phong phú và kết thúc vào lúc 10 giờ. Bạn có thể nhận phòng lúc 3 giờ chiều nhưng phải mất 2 giờ để đi thuyền đưa đón miễn phí đến khách sạn lúc 1 giờ chiều, điều này khá bất tiện. Những loại thuyền trả phí khác ra vào đảo đều đắt hơn. Không có phòng tập thể dục. Ngoài ra, còn có cá sấu 🐊 ở khu vực lặn biển. Chúng tôi đã nhìn thấy hai người trong số họ trong ba ngày. Đây không thể coi là bất lợi được, chỉ có thể gọi là số phận thôi, hahaha.

A place where I can work, meeting old friends, and at the same time allow my 3 boys to enjoy themselves safely. The availability of both a swimming pool and a small beach, with lifeguards on duty, gave me peace of mind throughout the day. the room was also clean and convinient for us also to enjoy beautiful morning sunrise. I was able to continue my work comfortably, spending time reading and writing on my laptop by the pool, surrounded by beautiful seaside scenery while watching my son playing. The experience was further enhanced by the availability of good food at the restaurant despite busy with customer, waitress e.g Ms Shamira and all were very helpful. Added with relaxing drinks in the evening while listening to live band performances, and quiet moments of healing by the beach, resting on the sofa with the sound of the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful, e.g Mr Alex and the team, who made our stay even more pleasant. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to come again.

SStiffany ChiaHad a wonderful Christmas Eve stay here. I stayed in a golf field view room, which was incredibly peaceful and calming. Even with the golf field view, I could still see parts of the ocean, and the sunset was absolutely beautiful. I spent some time at the pool and was able to enjoy a stunning sunset from there as well, overlooking the pier by the beach — it was truly an amazing view. I ordered room service during my stay and was very impressed with how prompt and friendly the service was. The room was cozy, clean, and very comfortable, and I especially enjoyed relaxing in the bathtub after a long day. Overall, everything felt calm and well taken care of, making it a perfect stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.
