We were completely exhausted when we checked in and delighted to find a comfy bed with lovely views over the river. We rested for a while and then went to the spa. The pool was just the right temperature as was the sauna and steam room. It was very relaxing. We enjoyed a great meal it was very tasty and served quickly. I'm vegan and gluten free and the choice for me was excellent. We then strolled around outside for a while catching the setting sun. The scenery was gorgeous. We slept really well and again enjoyed the spa facilities before a hearty breakfast and checked put completely refreshed at 11am the next day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything you would expect from a Holiday Inn. Comfortable, clean, good service and value for money. Location was a little further out but no big issue. Easy access to the motorway and a quick journey to Glasgow.
