Beautiful just to walk by, especially at night. If you can stop in for a performance, definitely do because it will be one you will never forget.

I saw the Nutcracker here, and it was incredible. The building itself was going through some facade work as there was scaffolding all along the north side. The staff isn't too friendly, but the inside is breathtakingly beautiful. If you're a ballet person, or can at least tolerate ballet, a performance at this theater is a must-see when in Prague.

The National Theatre building is beautifully lit up at night. Built in 1883, it is famous for its operas and ballet performances.
