Salzburger Dom (German: Salzburger Dom) is a 17th century Baroque building, the Cathedral of the Catholic Diocese of Salzburg, located in the Austrian city of Salzburg. This is where Mozart was baptized. In 1598, the original Roman church was severely damaged and forced to be demolished and rebuilt into a Baroque building. The foundation was laid in 1614 and completed in 1628. It's 466 feet long and 109 feet high. The church is located in Mozart Square, not far from the entrance of Salzburg Castle, basically within walking distance can reach several scenic spots. The interior of the church (if it's as intertwined as I am) is estimated to take half an hour to an hour to visit, but the interior design is really beautiful and spectacular, so it's worth the trip.
