The Orlando Museum of Art or OMA is arguably the most popular art museum in Orlando. Walking in, it’s easy to see why. Open from Tuesday to Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM, and Saturday to Sunday from noon to 4 PM, this venue showcases some of the best national, international, and Orlandoan art in the city. The massive, airy space serves as the perfect backdrop for the pieces, which range from ancient to contemporary, and which come from a rotating catalogue of talented artists and craftsmen. Exhibitions are frequent, and the museum also doubles as an event space. A cultural gem, the OMA is a must-see for any tourist visiting the city.

Orlando Museum of Art is a very small museum compare to other types of art museum. Of course art is subjective, but needs to have more varieties of art for which this museum was design. It had nearly half of the museum shutdown for making way for Christmas and updating some exhibits, so check ahead of time if you go. Disability access was provided. Disability parking was provided, but can fill-up real quickly.

The collection of pre-Colombian art is first class but the rest of the collection isn't particularly interesting or special. Keep an eye out for special exhibits.

This is the most popular museum at Loch Haven Park. In its collection there are pre-Columbian objects (like Peruvian figurines), African Art and American Paintings from 19th and 20th centuries.
