A small stretch of beach near the Honolulu Aquarium where you will be able to see a great mix of locals, tourists and families but never too crowded (except for parking). One of the best sunset spots on the Island and easy access. Warm water, beautiful park around it so you can take a stroll if not feeling like being on the sun and just flat out convenient spot to hangout all day. Enjoy it and when you are ready to leave, stop by Leonard's and get the best sweet treat you will find...I won't spoil for you, will let you discover for yourself. Just trust me on this one!!!

Kaimana Beach is a great relaxing beach. Easy to get to, plenty of street and meter parking, close to Waikiki but not as crowded/touristy. It's also known as "check me out" beach. Come here to chill, swim, people watch, and just be a beach bum ;).

Locals actually call this place "Kaimana Beach." Although the beach is in Waikiki, it's on the edge of Waikiki so it isn't as crowded as other beaches in the heart of Waikiki. If you can't find parking right near the beach, you can park at Kapiolani Park's metered parking. There's also a nice grassy area, so if you want to sit in the sun but don't want to get sandy, you can always hang out here. A lot of folks like to come here and surf, and nearby is the Waikiki Aquarium just a short walk down the road!
