I spent much of the month staying in Kensington near this pub and it quickly became my favorite. The fish and chips were excellent, the sausage and mash and steak and ale pie were superb. The gravy is the best I had the whole time I was in Britain. The staff were terrific with getting me the receipts I needed for my expense reporting. Can't wait to go again.

This pub wont earn big points on the service, but the food was very good. Had the Wagyu Burger and it was cooked to perfection. Overall I recommend this Pub.

Walked in the door, was not acknowledged by any staff. There was no indication as to whether we were supposed to wait to be seated or to seat ourselves. After a solid 2 minutes of standing around we decided to sit down. The chairs are insanely uncomfortable, the place is super loud and even after sitting down and making eye contact with every server who passed by, we went unnoticed. My friend (after 10 whole minutes!!) decided to approach a server who THEN took our order. Food was average and overpriced. Then we had to hunt down our server AGAIN since he never returned after serving us our meal. Our plates were left on the table as we went to hunt down a staff member for the second time. We stood at the bar in line behind people ordering drinks and were finally able to pay and leave. Would not recommend.
