The National Museum of Chiang Mai mainly exhibits historical relics and artworks of the Lana period, as well as various cold weapons used in the wars of the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. Especially remarkable is a huge bronze Buddha, which is in the exhibition hall downstairs. The museum's cultural relics can be traced back to the period of prosperity, Sukhotai, Roffrey and the Great City. Among them, the head of Buddha is the most exquisite, and many ancient Buddha statues, crafts and weapons of various periods are treasured. The goods and handicraft of ethnic minorities in the mountainous areas of northern Taipei are all in the upstairs exhibition hall.
