Having traveled extensively across Canada and other parts of the world, I can confidently say that this property—and more importantly, its staff (Maimai)—sets a new gold standard in hospitality. They accommodated our request to use the gym during extended hours at their inconvenience, allowed use of their lounges while moving their other reservations around. The architecture is both grand and inviting, blending modern elegance with local charm. Rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, and intuitively designed for comfort and convenience. From the plush bedding to the ambient lighting and high-end amenities, it’s clear that no expense was spared in creating a sanctuary for guests. The common areas—lobby, lounges, spa, and dining spaces—are equally impressive. They strike the perfect balance between luxury and warmth, making you feel both pampered and at home. I booked this hotel despite knowing it’s a bit far from the city center, typically requiring a 45-minute to 1-hour cab ride or a 1.5-hour journey by metro (there are two metro stations nearby). After calculating the cost savings of staying here and using cabs versus staying downtown, I found it worth it. That said, if you’re on a tight schedule, the location might not be ideal. One of the main reasons I chose this place was its newness, spaciousness, and the inclusion of a washing machine, which is essential for longer stays. However, since the property is newly established, many nearby F&B options are still under construction, especially around the hotel area. That said, there are nearby malls like Wanda Mall where you can find food and other necessities. A café and a mini-mart are already operational, and the area might become livelier in a few months. Cleanliness: I have to put it out there that I am particular when it comes to cleanliness. While the hotel is clean overall, there seems to be a lack of consistent training for the housekeeping staff. For instance, despite the initial unclean room being promptly addressed and replaced, I noticed a pile of hair/dust in one spot from Day 4 until the end of our stay—it remained untouched. I do hope that the cleaning staff would take extra precautions and being more thorough during their rounds. Overall, the cleaning staff were friendly and apologetic when reminded, but it would have been better if the cleaning was consistently thorough without needing reminders (almost on a daily basis). Amenities: I appreciated the Bluetooth speaker in the bathroom—it was a nice touch and made my stay more enjoyable. However, I did have an issue with the towels. While they were new and clean, I wished they had better quality. The towel piles would shed and stick to my body and face after use, which was frustrating. I hope this is something the hotel can address in the future. Service : The service has its highs and lows, but I will still give it a 5 as the staffs are friendly and apologetic for the issue caused. For instance, when we initially received an unclean room, the staff promptly moved us to a clean one and offered complimentary breakfast (though we didn’t end up using it). The hotel’s service WeChat was efficient, and staff responded quickly to requests. However, there were a few hiccups. For example, when we requested detergent and later asked for extra water upon delivery, the staff appeared slightly taken aback and commented on why we didn’t request both at the same time. While it might have been a minor misunderstanding, the comment and attitude felt unnecessary. One major inconvenience was the WiFi, which went down twice during our stay—once for an entire day. This was especially frustrating as I was on a work trip and had to rely on roaming, which incurred additional charges. While the staff apologized and reimbursed us, stable WiFi is essential and should be a priority. Overall, this hotel offers good value for money if you don’t mind the distance. I do hope that the hotel will have a better cleaning SOP in future.

Trước khi đặt phòng, tôi đọc được rằng các đánh giá trên mạng không tốt lắm, nên tôi gọi lại cho quầy lễ tân của căn hộ, sau khi tư vấn, bà chủ nhà cẩn thận giới thiệu cho tôi tình hình cơ bản của căn hộ khách sạn và nói rằng tôi chắc chắn sẽ không thất vọng nếu đặt trực tuyến. Thế nên tôi đặt khách sạn với tâm lý muốn thử một lần, khi đến căn hộ khách sạn, tôi không hề thất vọng, bà chủ nhà sắp xếp cho tôi ở trong một chung cư cao tầng có thể nhìn thấy Canton Tower và Pearl. Sông, Cảnh đêm Quảng Châu đẹp thật! Phòng cũng rất sạch sẽ. Nó cũng rất gần với Phòng triển lãm Pazhou nơi tôi đi công tác. Chỉ cách một ga tàu điện ngầm. Gần đó có rất nhiều món ăn ngon, với đủ loại đồ ăn. Đó là đáng giới thiệu cho bạn bè đến Quảng Châu tham dự triển lãm!

We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary at this hotel, and the staff made it truly special by decorating our room beautifully—what a lovely surprise! The service was fabulous throughout our stay, and we really appreciated their attention to detail. The hotel’s location in the middle of the mountain offers fantastic scenic views, though transportation can be a bit challenging. Thankfully, the hotel provides shuttle services to/from the train station and the Forest Train (森林小火车), which was very helpful. However, if you plan to order food delivery, note that some drivers may not deliver to this area. One minor downside was the ongoing construction nearby, which caused some noise (though acceptable, as it’s beyond the hotel’s control). Unfortunately, the dust from the construction also made the swimming pool appear a bit dirty during our visit. Despite these small issues, our overall experience was fantastic, thanks to the wonderful hospitality. We’d definitely recommend this hotel for a peaceful and romantic getaway!
