The location so convenient,near to Brisbane international airport. We booked 2bedrooms and stayed 1night before our departure flight on the next day. We like the place ,so clean and comfort for us. Except there is no elevator ,and our room was at 2nd floor. We had disable mother, pity to her.she was struggled to go up and down.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. This wasn’t a bad stay by any means- just had a certain feel to it we didn’t like. The property itself has a really strong smell of old wood and beer, which is quite a lot to get used to. The rooms are decent sized, however did find that 7 rooms to one toilet and shower was a little hard to navigate at times. The toilet also constantly had the windows locked open which meant that people walking past outside could see in and be heard which is a little unsettling where privacy is concerned. The room itself had quite a few baby cockroaches in, and after looking found full insect traps in the room so suspect this may be an ongoing issue. The blinds over the windows were very loose also, meaning when laid in bed at night you could see both in and out of our room which was also slightly unsettling. Our room was equipped with a sink, kettle, and fridge which came in handy. The stay was okay and did us for the price, very historic and lots of images on the walls demonstrating so.

とても居心地の良いホステルでした。ミックスシェアのお部屋は2段ベッドではなく1人1台のベッドが用意されていて、誰かの眠りを妨げずに済むところにまず高評価！オーナーさんがとても穏やかな優しい方で、周辺地域、ホステル内も丁寧に案内してくれるところから始まります。庭やプールもあって、キッチンも塩胡椒や油が備えてあり、お茶やコーヒーも自由に飲むことができました。数泊の間の自炊のためだけにちょっとした調味料を買う必要がなく、その点もよかったです。泊まってる方もフレンドリーでここまで居心地の良いホステルは久しぶりに出会いました。またケアンズに訪れるときは利用したいです！皆さんに本当にお勧めします！

But when it comes to booking and service this is another story .. for the money I paid to stay 2 night I thought this would be the perfect place to rest I’m 5 star style .. place yes , service a disaster. Firstly when I arrived at Swiss bel .. I went to reception to book in as I booked online a queen bed room he asked if I had a vehicle I said yes agreed to the $35 a night and he said he would just take it out of the bond I paid at end if that was ok I said yes perfect .. when I got up to my room it was 2 single I called reception and advised I had booked a queen bed and there is 2 singles he said oh the house keeper hadn’t changed the beds or didn’t look at booking , I asked if someone could just come up and fix .. he said there is noone to do this now come down and j will find another room for you . I went down stairs said I would go get something to eat and when I come back hopefully a room will be sorted. I came back he advised me that he had upgraded me and I asked if I could have the new key and I will switch rooms and come back down with the other key to save me bringing my luggage down and then back up again. I got to room and key didn’t work to go to 6th floor . So I brought my luggage down and told reception that key didn’t work . He said sometimes this happens with those keys /actually quite often said he would come up with me and check . Yes card did not work so he used his staff card to let me in said he would fix and come back . He came back 10mins later to test and it had been foxed . Not sure what the upgrade as as room was smaller than the first , had no shower gel (was empty container when I went into have a shower) thought it may have been replenished on next day with room Clean still empty on second day and cleaner took face washers and never replaced them so I washed with shampoo and a hand towel .. when I came back on second day went to put card into open the car park and it didn’t work .. I went to reception to let them know I was trying to get into car park and the card doesn’t work, she (Asian lady) advised me that I hadn’t paid for parking .. I had to explain everything from the night before then asked me they will take it out of my bind I said yes that’s what I agreed with the night before . No apology just more interested in getting payment for parking. She added parking to Card then said she would come out and make sure it worked as I said the night before man had to come And make sure carry worked she forgot card for The card so Went back into get then came out .. followed me down then gave me a card .. I later received a phone call from a lady called Theresa asking how my stay was and I explain that it has been the most disappointing experience I have had ever ! Explained the above she said she would come and replace the shower gel and face washers I said it’s ok I have already had my shower used a hand towel and shampoo because I’m already in bed .. she said that I hope that my stay apologetic on my experience already , I hope it is better from now and if I need anything to contact her and ask for Theresa I said thank you I appreciated the call … then then 10 Minutes later she comes knocking on my door I have to get dress to answer the door she knocks again I said I’m coming She is at the door with the shower gel and face washers getting me out of bed . I understand why she brought it but I told her I was in bed and I had already showered . So then I go to hand my key in to check out to be told I have outstanding parking I need to pay .. I advised Theresa that it is coming out of the bond payed and this has been told now to 3 people .. as I said place is absolutely fantastic.. apart from missing shower gel and tissues Not sure what or how I was uograded as the room was smaller and no window as in first room 506 to 606

The location is a bit far - it take a good 15 mins walk to likely everywhere in Cairns city center. However it is one of the newest hotel in the town and could give you a good and fair service. The buildings in the hote and the pool is beautiful. When you walk around the town you will find all big brands hotel in the world but they all looks like historical buildings.

TTài khoản kháchIt was a bit painful from the get go checking in. You have to go to a different hotel a block over. There is nowhere to park to check in. I called the number to be put through to a call centre that isn’t on site. Call 1: yes you can park in the visitor parking just buzz and they’ll let you in. Call 2: while blocking the driveway I’m unable to find a buzzer that reaches reception. Operator sounds confused, I hang up and someone is coming out so I sneak in. Call 3: I’m parked in visitor parks, go up the lift and come out at another building. She again sounds confused. If I go out the door I won’t be able to get back in without a fob, so I’m asking which way I should go. There are no signs to tell me how to get to Ivy and Eve apartments. I eventually find a worker who takes me around to reception. Sorted. Or so I think. I check in with reception. The girl was really lovely and informative. So I think, until I reach the carpark of the next building I’m staying at. The sheet of paper she gave me says “your allocated car space is 131 and is located on 55. I drive in looking for level 55, car space 131. Neither of these exist. Call 4: Where is my carpark? Am I missing something. Keep in mind every time I call I’m asked to give all my details so they can verify my booking so by now I’m pretty tired of it all. She finds my booking and says oh yes you’re in park 55 on level B1. (See photo for why I was confused!) I drive around the carpark looking for a 55. It doesn’t exist. All carparks are labelled with a sign saying Art house and 4 numbers. Ok maybe it’s the last 2? Nope doesn’t exist. After driving around for a bit I realise there are numbers on the ground of the carpark that are completely different to the signs (I didn’t look at the ground because the signs said art house) So finally I work out that this is my park. Another confused guest stops to ask me where his park might be and I explain it’s the floor ones not the art house signs. So I wasn’t the only one. Ok so park the car, go upstairs to room 1106 which of course is on floor 10. Makes sense lol. As soon as I open the door I’m hit with a wet musty kind of smell. Like the place had been flooded and not allowed to dry out properly maybe? I opened all the windows and when that didn’t work I went and bought some air freshener to hide the smell a bit. We left all the doors open all night and next day and the smell improved. The lounge chairs are not comfy if you’re looking for a stay in watch Netflix type staycay, but the beds are really comfy. The place was pretty immaculately clean so that was nice. And washer dryer were great to have. If I had have known I’d need to go through all that checkin at another building I would not have booked. Maybe I missed the part that mentioned this? Ahh well we enjoyed our stay in general, it just didn’t get off to a good start.

Oouliana routLocation of the resort is very good, on the river, close to the Surfers Paradise central area and walking distance to the beach. It has lots of free garage and on site parking. It has tennis court, beautiful pool with hot outdoor spa , gym and dry sauna. All service desk guys were very attentive and helpful. Downside is that the resort is old and needs lots of maintenance. All common areas are in need of a facelift. All units have individual owners. The unit I stayed had blocked sink in the bathroom and bed mattress in the bedroom was worn out and sagging to one side. Lucky me I was able to sleep on the other side!

CCristal SimonWe loved the location of this hotel. Close enough to the main strip to enjoy everything Surfers Paradise has to offer, but far enough away to avoid the constant noise, crowds, and parking chaos. The main area was extremely busy, so we quickly discovered that e-bikes were the best way to get around. Surfers Paradise itself was great: lively atmosphere, plenty of activity, shops open late, great food options, and lots of buskers. We booked a two-bedroom apartment with a sea view, and it absolutely delivered in terms of view and location. The hotel facilities were excellent — indoor and outdoor pools, spa, sauna, steam room, gym, and tennis courts. Our teenagers especially enjoyed making the most of all these amenities. However, there were some significant issues that impacted our stay. We were in apartment 26B and had no air-conditioning for the entire six-day stay, which was very difficult given it was summer. We also didn’t realise that reception is only staffed for limited hours. When we called early in the day and again around 4pm, no one was available. We eventually managed to speak to someone on day two or three, and the hotel manager came to assist, but unfortunately there was little he could do. We were told the compressor was likely failing, meaning the air-conditioning could not be used at all. It was frustrating to be sold a five-night stay knowing the apartment was not in full working order. Cleanliness was another concern. The floors throughout the apartment were sticky and grimy, with the kitchen floor feeling particularly oily and unclean. One of our sons found the couch sticky to the touch, and there was hair present in the bathroom which was disappointing. While we genuinely loved the hotel, its grounds, and its facilities, there is clear room for improvement in both cleanliness standards and customer service. Additionally, we encountered an unpleasant interaction with a long-term resident who complained about our children playing in the pool with a small rubber ball, claiming it was against the rules, despite other children—including her own—jumping into the pool. Given it was the school holidays and many families were using the facilities appropriately, the complaint felt unreasonable. It was also mentioned to us that lower-floor residents occasionally complain about noise from pool users, which may be an ongoing issue when short-term stays are accommodated. Overall, the property has great potential, but improvements in maintenance, cleanliness, and guest communication would significantly enhance the experience.

More restaurants and Pac Fair mall just across the street. 5 min walk to the beach. We even walked to Draculas Cabaret for some evening entertainment one night. Staff were friendly and helpful and everything was clean. Would stay here again. The only down side was having to pay extra for parking. It’s $20 a day.
