(For context, I was a black female solo traveller) Location On a long street with many restaurants and shops along the street and a self service ATM 5 -10 min walk away, including a small market in the mornings. It is a residential area, so you will most likely be the only foreigner, but people are extremely friendly and helpful, albeit the stares. The entrance faced the main road and was well lit. There is a flight of stairs that you will need to go up to get to the hostel area. If you have not tried hot pot, I would def recommend going to the Haichiniu Xianxianqie Beef Self service Hot Pot place which is around 5 mins walk down the road. Quite far from the centre of the city however it is extremely easy to get to. During the day, there is a close proximity to the underground around 10 min walk, and there is a bus that I took from the city centre to right outside the hostel door where the bus stop was. If you are going through the night/early morning, it is extremely easy to catch a taxi through apps and it is quite cheap (around 40- 70 yen) and the road is very well lit. I felt completely safe in the area. Service Chu, the hostel aunty is warm and helpful, and gives you a sense of being home away from home. This included being made some home made dumplings to celebrate Golden Week which tasted delicious! She gave recommendations on places to go and made sure that I kept safe when out. As another review said, it can be a bit difficult communicating if you don't know Chinese as no English at the hostel or around the area is spoken and it can get quite draining/ mentally challenging at times for us, however Chu still tried her best to communicate regardless and I really appreciated the effort. To get around this and to make your stay more enjoyable, I would be sure to have WeChat set up prior so you can use the chat translator and have your google translate app out ready. (N.B Make sure you are able to set up the account and get the WeChat validation/security text through your HOME sim/data roaming as opposed to attempting to set up your account on your E-sim which won't work). Facilities It is a hostel that provides what you need. The things that took my British head some time to get around was the shower situation and the bed; namely the shower as it was more typical of an advanced bidet than standard shower. However, it was kept exceptionally clean after my first day there and I did my part of keeping it clean by bleaching it down. The bed is quite sturdy, typical of Chinese beds, so I would recommend bringing a blanket or similar to lay on the mattress so you can get to sleep. There is an upstairs area where you can use the washing machine or wash your clothes by hand and an open area to hang dry your clothes. Make sure you have some cash ready to give to Chu to use the machine. There is a vending machine that you can buy snacks for using the your WeChat pay. There is a seating area at the top where you can sit down and eat, smoke and chat. Once you are used to the different products used (i.e remembering the slippers, using the shower etc.), it becomes second nature and a very comfortable stay (funny story: I was sitting on a desk chair outside my room and being use to the chairs in the UK being quite heavy, I swung myself around and ended up falling off the chair LOL!). Cleanliness Like I mentioned above, the hostel is kept exceptionally clean and I had no concerns around hygiene once I got used to the shower situation. The cleanliness is what I can say was a huge benefit to the hostel. Considering how large the place is and Chu is the sole host, it is kept evidently very clean and Chu will be sure to tell you to tidy up too lool. People in China are not a fan of strong smells/ fragranced things so you will not smell bleach or such products but after seeing a storage room, I can assure they are being used! The photos in the other reviews capture it exactly so you will not be surprised when coming to the place.

Vị trí rất gần Chùa Báo Quốc, nhưng đi đến cổng vào khu du lịch hơi xa, nên sử dụng taxi vì giá cũng không mắc. Khuôn viên khâch sạn rộng, đầ đủ dịch vụ, có tắm nước nóng cũng thú vị. Đặc biệt khách sạn phục vụ ăn sáng rất chu đáo và ngon miệng, vợ tôi nhắc mãi mấy trái táo (mặc dù ở đất nước tôi cũng có bán nhưng không ngon bằng) Nhân viên dễ thương và rất nhiệt tình hỗ trợ khách nước ngoài.

Khách sạn 5 sao Very2. N*** từ lúc tôi nhận phòng, họ đã chào đón chúng tôi, hỗ trợ lấy hành lý của chúng tôi ra khỏi taxi, giúp gửi hành lý đến thang máy, Thủ tục nhận phòng nhanh chóng. Khách sạn cách tuyến tàu điện ngầm số 2, trung tâm mua sắm Tianfu Square và nhà thờ Hồi giáo Huangcheng một quãng đi bộ.. Rất thuận tiện và dễ tìm thấy đồ ăn Halal gần khách sạn. Phòng rất rộng rãi, lớn và sạch sẽ. Giá cả phải chăng cho một đêm nghỉ, tôi nhận được khoảng RM150++.. Nhân viên rất tốt bụng và vui vẻ khi được gặp tất cả những người tốt ở Thành Đô❤️

Khách sạn tuyệt vời bên bờ sông, gần trung tâm. Siêu sạch sẽ, hiện đại và ấm cúng với giường ngủ rất thoải mái. Nhân viên rất tuyệt vời. Họ đã giúp chúng tôi đặt vé tham quan Cơ sở Nghiên cứu Gấu trúc Khổng lồ và Tượng Phật Khổng lồ Lạc Sơn, đồng thời hướng dẫn chúng tôi cách tham quan cả hai nơi trong cùng một ngày mà không cần qua trung gian. Họ còn pha cho chúng tôi một ly cà phê đá ngon tuyệt. Rất khuyến khích cho bất kỳ ai đến Thành Đô!

The hotel and room are comfortable and well situated (if a little noise as the room overlooked a busy square. The main issue is that they falsely advertised a pool/gym which was the reason I chose this place. After sleeping there for the night, I went to find the pool only to be told they didn’t have one (there is signage in the lift and downstairs). Trip says the pool is “under construction” but it is clearly out of action. Had I known on check in that the facilities weren’t available, I would have stayed elsewhere, Trip and the hotel have refused a refund. Terrible customer service and dereliction of duty.

Tôi định mang từng chiếc vali nặng của mình nhưng cô đột nhiên lấy vali nặng giúp tôi và tôi nói với cô ấy rằng không, nó quá nặng đối với cô nhưng cô ấy khăng khăng và mang nó đến cửa trước phòng tôi. cô ấy rất hiếu khách. Cô ấy không cần phải xách túi của tôi vì nó quá nặng đối với cô! Tôi vừa xấu hổ vừa ấn tượng với việc cô ấy muốn giúp đỡ nhiều như thế nào. Tôi rất biết ơn vì điều đó. Upone bước vào phòng. Chúng tôi có một đêm ngủ ngon đến nỗi chúng tôi thức dậy hơi muộn. Cũng vì chúng tôi thích 青城山, nhưng khi chúng tôi đến đó thì đã 3 giờ chiều, quá muộn để vào và tận hưởng thiên nhiên. vì vậy chúng tôi đã WeChat với cô và nói ở đây rằng chúng tôi sẽ ở lại thêm 1 đêm nữa. Và cô ấy đã nâng cấp cho chúng tôi lên phòng lớn hơn với 2 giường rất rộng rãi. với cùng mức giá vì loại phòng chúng tôi đặt đã kín chỗ. I wanted to share a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at Hyatt Centric The Ring Chengdu. This was the final stop on our China trip, and our experience here truly stood out - it was, without a doubt, the best customer service we received throughout our journey. While not all staff were fluent in English, those who communicated with us - both in person and via WeChat - were exceptionally thoughtful, attentive, and professional. From the moment we arrived, Cheng Cheng welcomed us so warmly. He kindly assisted with our luggage up to the lobby and our room, and his enthusiasm in welcoming us to Chengdu immediately made us feel at home. After helping us check in, he briefly stepped away but returned shortly after to offer us a room change he had proactively arranged, having noticed an unpleasant food odour in the original room. This level of care and attention to detail meant so much to us. Throughout our stay, he continued to check in on us with a super friendly smile whenever we crossed paths, always ensuring we were comfortable and enjoying our time. Thank you, Cheng Cheng! We would also like to thank James, who went above and beyond to help us with collecting our parcels - our first time ordering online in China. When our packages were diverted to a collection point, he personally accompanied us there and took the time to explain how the system works. This level of service is truly rare and it seemed so consistent with the whole team at this establishment. When one of our parcels was mistakenly picked up and opened by someone else, James and Echo, the duty manager, stepped in and liaised with the collection point to track it down and successfully retrieve it. Echo wanted to hand this item to us personally so that we could check the contents were in good condition. We were incredibly impressed and grateful. Echo also helped resolve a couple of delivery hiccups by assisting us in contacting courier customer service, ensuring everything was eventually delivered smoothly. Thank you, James and Echo! Last but certainly not least, our deepest thanks to Aggie. She was an absolute angel throughout our stay - so kind, approachable, and genuinely helpful. We are incredibly grateful for everything she did for us. She would help us with any issues promptly and nothing seemed like a hassle despite all the help we needed. When a couple of our deliveries couldn’t arrive before our departure, Aggie went out of her way to help arrange for the remaining parcels to be sent to us. Her care and dedication were truly exceptional and Hyatt Centric The Ring is so fortunate to have her as part of theteam! Thank you very much for everything, Aggie! The team’s thoughtfulness was evident in so many small ways as well - bringing parcels up to our room and even leaving a pair of scissors for us to use. These touches did not go unnoticed and made our stay all the more special. The breakfast was also excellent. If I were to offer any constructive feedback, it would be for housekeeping to pay a little more attention to detail in the bathrooms. That said, given the outstanding service we experienced, this was a very minor point, and I have no doubt it would have been promptly addressed had we raised it during our stay. Additionally, we found the laundry detergent used for the bath towels a little harsh and caused dryness for both my husband and me, though this was easily resolved with disposable cotton towels. Ultimately, it was the people at this hotel who made our stay so memorable. Their warmth, care, and professionalism far outweighed any minor issues. I would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly be recommending it to family and friends visiting Chengdu.

The hotel is located in the heart of Tianfu Square at the Lamborghini Center, making it extremely convenient to get around! The rooms are luxurious and spacious, with exquisite marble flooring, cleanliness, and no unpleasant odors. All necessary amenities are available, including a refrigerator, microwave, and washing/drying machine, which cater to daily needs. The Dyson hairdryer enhances the overall experience. The housekeeping staff are friendly, responsive, and meticulous in their cleanliness, ensuring that every corner is spotless. The overall design is elegant, the space is spacious and bright, and the living conditions are comfortable and stylish. It’s perfect for business trips or travels, and I highly recommend it!
