The Hotel was very magical, like out of a fairytale. The resort is 15 min away from the entrance to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The front desk was very helpful especially Tim. He speaks good English and helped me book Tianmen mountains and the other front desk also drove me there. The hospitality and breakfast was amazing. There are many foreigners that stay in this hotel aswell. The area is surreal and when it gets dark it also looks amazing.

Staff is wonderful! Close to park entrance. Breakfast good choices. I love swimming so was disappointed there was no water in advertised pool.

All good, great service but pool out of service. Unless the pool is important I still recommend it 5/5. The pool didn’t look to have been in service any time recently.

We had a wonderful stay and appreciated the calm area as well as the walking distance to the entrance gate of the forest park. The staff helped us with all our questions regarding the walking tours but also reacted immediately to our demands for the room (turn on heating, fresh towels etc). Lovely stay for a couple!

Service was excellent, very personable and they made you feel very much at home. Breakfast was tasty with a great mix of fruits, eggs and local produce. Great advice for walks in the National park.

I appreciated this hotel, particularly for the location, in front of the park with Tianzi Mountain. The room has been also good with the large terrace with bath tube. Last but not least the kindness of the people working there always available to give you advices for the places to visit as well as riding you directly to the entrance gate or the taxi stop.

I was amazed by the hotel! The service was amazing was outstanding! One guy speaks English and helped us throughout the weekend. I highly recommend this hotel, especially with a Mountain View Room!

Tim made our stay go very smoothly - he had tons of advice and was always on hand. The room was great and the pool and bath were very relaxing. The breakfasts were all the same, so bring snacks if you like variety. Apart from that, I couldn't fault it. Thanks for a great few days.

for the first two nights of our stay in Zhangjiajie we stayed at a nice hotel in wulingyuan area, just in between the south and southeast gates of the zhangjiajie national forest park. The hotel was cozy, with spacious rooms, the staff very very friendly and helpful. We booked the hotel because of the pool, which we were happy to use on the first day since due to covid prevention rules we were not allowed in the park. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly even when we had a little issue with our health codes, and helped us to solve the situation in no time. Overall a good hotel, worth the price and with great service. The hotel has a swimming pool with lounge chairs, a few workout machines, a pool table, and a big restaurant area. Breakfast served was simple but good, and the staff even went out of their way to prepare coffee for us.

Life-Saving Hotel! Traveling to Zhangjiajie National Park solo is already a challenging experience, add not being fluent in Chinese + the “epidemic” situation and you could end up in a world of struggle. Thankfully I stayed here! Tim, the manager is fluent in English, he helped me plan my route through the park, drove me there, then took me to the hospital for a test I didn’t know I needed. He provided transportation to and from the park entrance gates, and even helped me buy a replacement piece for my broken camera equipment! This man deserves a raise! All of the staff was so kind and they have an adorable baby! The location is about a 3 minute drive from a quiet park entrance gate. You can also walk to and from there, It’s about 10 minutes with charming views. You can see some of the peaks in the forest from the hotel, it’s very peaceful. There’s a convenience store about 3 minutes walking for extra drinks and snacks, and a traditional style restaurant a few meters past that. Breakfast in the hotel is traditional Chinese noodles, boiled eggs, sweet potatoes, toast & jam, and fruit. There are lots of good places to eat lunch in the park, especially on Tianzi Shan. For dinner you can go to a local restaurant or ask the staff to order waimai for you. I would have had an awful experience without Tim’s help, really can’t thank him enough. There are lots of homestays in the area, but this one where you will really feel like you’re home!
